🌟 CBHC STAFF SPOTLIGHT – MEET AMY MATHIAS! 🌟

Please join us in welcoming Amy Mathias to the Coshocton Behavioral Health Choices family! 💙

Amy brings a wonderful background of experience working with children, families, and our local community. Before joining CBHC, she spent 6 years as an ongoing caseworker with Job and Family Services, 8 years as a part-time music and worship leader at her church, and 3½ years as a substitute teacher with Coshocton City Schools.

Amy's experience working with families and students brings a valuable perspective to our team. We are excited to have her helping us support the children and families in our community!

🌿 A Little About Amy:
Outside of work, Amy enjoys spending time outdoors, walking, swimming, and appreciating nature.

💙 We are so happy to have Amy as part of the CBHC team and look forward to the positive impact she will make!

🌟 CBHC STAFF SPOTLIGHT: CHRISTINE LEWIS! 🌟

👏 Please join us in recognizing Christine Lewis for the wonderful work she is doing with students in the River View Local School District!

Christine has been meeting with students at both River View Intermediate School and River View High School, providing support, encouragement, and a positive connection for students.

Before stepping into this role, Christine helped deliver CBHC's Too Good for Drugs prevention program, helping students build healthy decision-making skills and learn the importance of making positive choices.

💚 Christine has been an incredible asset to our team and a perfect fit for the River View School District! Her dedication to supporting students and building positive relationships makes a meaningful difference.

We are so grateful to have Christine as part of the CBHC family!

Today, we want to recognize Ariana Bender, our wonderful Front Desk and Intake Specialist at Coshocton Behavioral Health Choices! 💙

Ariana is often the first smiling face you see when you walk through our doors and the first friendly voice you hear when you call. We know that reaching out for services isn't always easy, and having someone who is kind, welcoming, and professional can make all the difference.

Ariana has been such a valuable part of our team! She has worked hard to improve and organize our intake documentation, helping make the process smoother for both our clients and staff.

Meet Myrakle Johnson!

Myrakle Johnson is a QMHS, RA with Coshocton Behavioral Health Choices and currently provides services to children at Coshocton Elementary as well as at CBHC.

Myrakle is passionate about working with children and supporting their social, emotional, and behavioral needs. She is also continuing her education in social work and is expected to graduate with her degree in December.

We are excited to have Myrakle as part of the CBHC team and appreciate the care and support she brings to the children and families she serves.

🌟 Staff Highlight: Megan Daugherty, LISW 🌟

Today we are proud to highlight Megan Daugherty, LISW, CBHC’s Clinical Director and Operations Director.

Megan brings years of social work and behavioral health experience to CBHC, but her impact reaches far beyond her clinical expertise. In her leadership roles, she helps support our clinical team, strengthen day-to-day operations, and make sure our programs continue to grow in ways that meet the needs of the people and families we serve.

One of Megan’s most significant contributions has been her commitment to the future of our organization and our facility. She has been instrumental in fundraising efforts for our building, helping CBHC pursue resources that allow us to improve our space, maintain a welcoming environment, and continue investing in the community we serve.

Megan is someone who sees both the individual needs of the people we serve and the bigger picture of what it takes to keep a community behavioral health organization moving forward.

We are grateful for the experience, leadership, and dedication Megan brings to CBHC every day.

Today's Staff Highlight is Chris Myers.

Chris is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor with a Supervision Designation and a Licensed Independent Chemical Dependency Counselor, bringing 15 years of experience in the mental and behavioral health field. She is EMDR trained and works with children, adolescents, and adults, providing compassionate, individualized care for a variety of emotional, behavioral, mental health, and substance use concerns.

Chris utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), client-centered therapy, play therapy, and EMDR-informed approaches. She also facilitates a Day Treatment group focused on anger management, coping skills, and emotional regulation.

Her goal is to provide a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where each client can build on their strengths, develop healthy coping skills, and work toward meaningful change.

🎃🍂 Join Us for CBHC’s Resiliency Event & Trunk or Treat! 🍂🎃
Coshocton Behavioral Health Choices is excited to invite families and community members to our Resiliency Event & Trunk or Treat on Thursday, October 31, from 2:00–4:00 p.m.
📍 Location:
CBHC Parking Lot
610 Walnut Street, Coshocton, OH
(The parking lot is in the back of the building.)
Please note: Part of 6th Street will be blocked during the event.
Come out for a fun fall afternoon filled with:
✨ Trunk or Treat
🏰 Bounce houses
🍔 Free food
🎨 Family activities
🤝 Several providers and local businesses participating
🛍️ Free Deterra bags and gun locks while supplies last
This event is a great opportunity for families to connect, enjoy the season, and celebrate resiliency together in our community.
A special thank you to the Appalachian Children Coalition Grant and the Ohio Su***de Prevention Foundation for helping support this event.

🌟 Staff Spotlight: Meet Marla Latham! 🌟

Today, we’re excited to shine the spotlight on Marla, one of the newest members of our team! As a medical assistant, Marla helps patients feel welcome from the moment they arrive. She greets patients, takes vital signs, and works alongside our nurse practitioner to help each visit run smoothly.

Marla has also been instrumental in supporting our Spravato process. Whether she’s helping behind the scenes or working directly with patients, we appreciate the dedication and care she brings to her role.
