🚑 Calling all 3rd graders! We’re so excited for our CCEMS Coloring Contest!

Students in Coshocton, Ridgewood, and River View schools should have already received a coloring page to take home. Be sure to color your page and return it to your school by September 28 📅

We’ll choose one winner from each district 🏆
And each winner will get an awesome prize… a ride to school in a CCEMS ambulance! 🚑✨

Parents will be notified by the school, and we’ll work together to schedule the ride.

The winning artwork will also be displayed somewhere in Coshocton County 🖍️❤️ More details on that coming soon!

We hope to see lots of participation, creativity, and fun from our local students. We love finding ways to connect with the kids in our community and share a little about what CCEMS is all about.

Good luck and happy coloring! 🌟🖍️

Be prepared before an emergency happens.

Download and print this Emergency Card, fill it out, and keep it somewhere easy to see in your home. This can be especially helpful for children, older adults, or anyone with important medical information that first responders may need quickly.

Consider placing it on the refrigerator, near a main entrance, or another location everyone in the home knows about.

A little preparation now can help provide important information when every second matters.

As families spend time around pools, ponds, & lakes this holiday weekend, we want to remind everyone that drowning can happen quickly and quietly.

If you think someone is drowning, call 911 immediately. Reach or throw something that floats if you can do so safely, and avoid entering the water yourself unless you are trained and it is safe. Once the person is out of the water, begin CPR if they are not breathing and you know how.

A few seconds of attention can make all the difference. Stay alert & wear your life jacket.

With extreme heat in our area, CCEMS wants to remind everyone to stay cool, stay hydrated, and know the difference between heat exhaustion and heat stroke.

Heat exhaustion can quickly become more serious. If someone becomes confused, unconscious, or shows signs of heat stroke, call 911 immediately.

As you enjoy the holiday weekend, take frequent breaks from the heat, drink plenty of water, and check on family, friends, neighbors, and anyone spending extended time outdoors.

Stay cool. Stay hydrated. Stay informed. Stay safe, Coshocton County! ☀️💧
