Here's another amateur video for you! Not the best angle, but it is what it is...(now I gotta work on losing my ego 😆).

Anyhow, here are a few standing poses that will help open the body up for King Pigeon. Do what you can, you can always go up to a wall or use a strap to help support yourself in the dancer pose...the wall is great for any of the balance positions.

Good luck! I would love to hear your progress. Remember to enjoy the journey in your yoga practice, not just the end shape.

Have a beautiful day! ✌️💚🕉️

A huge thank you to all who attended last night's Yin & Yoga Nidra at the Row River Grange! It was wonderful to see lovely friends and meet some new faces. I hope you all had a relaxing rest of your evening and slept like babies. 😊

This beautiful sunset greeted us as we departed for the evening.

Thank you to the Row River Grange for letting me host this event in your space!

Have a beautiful day! ✌️💚🕉️

Tomorrow tomorrow...looking forward to seeing you tomorrow at 6:30pm at The Row River Grange! ✌️💚🕉

Unwind with a blend of yin yoga and yoga nidra, a soothing experience to nurture your body and mind.

What to Expect:
Yin Yoga invites you to slow down, creating space for stillness while nourishing your joints, ligaments, and tendons. This class is all about relaxation, using props to support gentle poses, breathwork, and meditation to help you find your bliss.

Yoga Nidra, or "yogic sleep," is a deeply relaxing practice where you’ll lie down and be guided through a calming sequence designed to release tension and quiet the mind.

Bring: Blankets, pillows, or any props that will help you feel supported. The floor in the grange is cool, so you may want to bring an extra blanket for underneath your mat as well.

I highly suggest bringing an eye pillow for the yoga nidra, so you can block out any light and go inward.

Cost: Sliding scale $15-$20
Cash or Venmo accepted.

This week, let’s savor and integrate abundance as we begin to prepare for the seasonal transition that’s coming in September.

Here are three things to help you prepare mindfully for this transition:

✨Savor Your Meals: Eat one meal this week in complete silence. Chew slowly. Notice every texture and flavor.

✨Integrate gratitude into your morning or evening routing: Write down three small, ordinary things that feel abundant as you get up in the morning or as you wind down at night.

✨Transition Pauses: Before shifting tasks (like leaving your car to enter your home), close your eyes. Take three deep breaths to integrate your day.

Notice how it changes your day…or week! Let us know your experience (if you’d like) in the comments! ✌️💚🕉️

August is flying by! We best get started on our pose of the month - King Pigeon 😊

Here's a not very well lit super amateur video I made for you to get started! ha ha ha. These are just a few moves to start opening the hips, hip flexors, chest, spine and back to get started.
More to come soon...we got this! 💪

Have a great Saturday! ✌️💚🕉️

We are abundant, in so many ways! This week is a great time to slow down, reflect, and savor the abundant lessons of the summer (...so far - summer’s not over yet! 😉) Take time to think about your experiences…without labeling them as good or bad. Look for the lessons in each.

On your mat, try not to rush or plough through the poses, trying to get to the next without savoring the one you're in. Breathe in each pose, notice what it’s trying to teach you, physically and mentally.

Wishing you a calm, present week with many revelations! Feel free to share some of your summer lessons if you are inclined in the comments. ✌️💚🕉️

Hi friends! ✨

Continuing with this week’s thought about letting the practice be enough, and finding contentment rather than constantly striving, I wanted to share this verse from the Bhagavad Gita that speaks to this very topic:

Chapter 4, Verse 22:
"He who is satisfied with gain which comes of its own accord, who is free from duality and envy, and who is steady in both success and failure, is never entangled."

Something to consider if you find yourself struggling with striving or feeling like you need to do more this week. I hope it offers a little perspective and peace. ✌️💚🕉️

Also! I wanted to share a FREE virtual event happening later this month in case any of you would like to join. It’s the Ram Dass Legacy Summer Mountain Retreat, and there are so many wonderful speakers and topics being offered.

You can find the free online event here: https://www.ramdass.org/2026-boone-retreat-free-virtual-access/?mc_cid=ad93ac6447&mc_eid=6c1fb5249e

As we head into a new week, let’s remind ourselves that we already have all we need, perhaps even more than we need.

There is a space within us where we can find contentment and recognize that our practice, exactly as it is today, is already enough. It doesn’t need to be perfect. It’s perfect for this moment.

As you move through your poses this week, slow down and savor each one. Notice how each position feels, what it offers you, and how it is serving you right now.

✨ How did your practice shift when you truly savored and noticed each movement? Share your insights in the comments. ✌️💚🕉️
