While cleaning out our storage space, we made an unexpected discoveryโ€ฆ ๐Ÿ‘€

We found 2 Emerald Green โ€œThis Bag Carries Boundariesโ€ totes that have been sold out for months.

Seeing Rebel Red, Classic Black, and Emerald Green together today felt like the perfect reminder that boundaries are a form of freedom too.

โœจ CUSTOMER LOVE โœจ

When Mind the Crown created the Vintage Gold Boundaries Tote, I wanted it to be more than a bag. I wanted it to be a reminder that protecting your peace, honoring your boundaries, and choosing yourself is always in style.

So imagine my smile when a customer shared:

โ€œYour design makes me feel like Iโ€™m carrying a Birkin bag.โ€

She went on to praise the details, the packaging, and the overall experienceโ€”and thatโ€™s exactly what we strive for at Mind the Crown.

Thank you for supporting a small business with a big mission. ๐Ÿ’›๐Ÿ‘‘

Iโ€™m excited to share that Mind the Crown LLC has been awarded a contract with Ramsey County through its Elder Mentors Program.

This season has taught me to be intentional with my energy. While youโ€™ll still see Mind the Crown products and events, Iโ€™m grateful for opportunities that allow me to lean more into coaching, mentoring, and workshops that create meaningful impact.

The journey may look different, but the purpose remains the same. Thank you for supporting Mind the Crown every step of the way.

๐Ÿฉต A reminder: You donโ€™t have to do it all alone.

This weekend, I asked for help when I needed it, and my village showed up. What felt overwhelming became manageable because others were willing to lend a hand.

Self-care isnโ€™t always candles and bubble baths. Sometimes itโ€™s allowing people to support you.

Grateful for community. Grateful for kindness. Grateful for the reminder that we were never meant to carry everything by ourselves.

One of my favorite moments from Resilience: A Shop & Support Experience was hearing from MN Ovarian Cancer Alliance (MOCA).

As a woman living with Stage 4 ovarian cancer, I canโ€™t stress enough how important awareness and self-advocacy are. Too many women, especially Black women, are taught to push through pain and put themselves last.

Thank you, MOCA, for reminding us that our health matters, our voices matter, and early conversations can save lives.

๐Ÿ’™ Take care of you. Listen to your body. Ask questions.

There are so many feelings that come with a cancer diagnosis.

Fear. Anger. Sadness. Gratitude. Hope.

Some days you feel strong. Some days youโ€™re simply trying to make it through the day.

As I navigate my own journey with Stage 4 ovarian cancer, I realized I needed a safe space to process my thoughts, release my emotions, and remind myself that I am more than what is happening to me.

Thatโ€™s why I created ๐… ๐‚๐š๐ง๐œ๐ž๐ซ. ๐ˆโ€™๐ฆ ๐’๐ญ๐ข๐ฅ๐ฅ ๐‡๐ž๐ซ๐ž.

Part coloring book. Part reflection journal. All heart.

Inside are thoughtful journal prompts and coloring pages designed to create moments of peace, creativity, healing, and hope during a season that can feel overwhelming.

Whether youโ€™re purchasing it for yourself or as a gift for a woman you love, my prayer is that every page reminds her of one thing:

๐˜๐จ๐ฎ ๐š๐ซ๐ž ๐ฆ๐จ๐ซ๐ž ๐ญ๐ก๐š๐ง ๐ฒ๐จ๐ฎ๐ซ ๐๐ข๐š๐ ๐ง๐จ๐ฌ๐ข๐ฌ.

Some days, I still catch myself missing my hair.

Then I remember that my beauty was never in my hairโ€”it was always in me.

One thing Iโ€™m especially grateful for during this cancer journey is my husband, my best friend. Through every appointment, every hard day, and every emotion that comes with Stage 4 ovarian cancer, he reminds me that I am beautiful. Bald head and all.

For so many women, self-love feels easier when everything is going well. The real work is learning to love yourself when life changes your body, your plans, and your reflection.

Today, Iโ€™m choosing acceptance.

Not because this journey is easy, but because I deserve to see myself with the same grace and love that the people who love me see in me.

๐Ÿ’— Mind the Crown reminder: You are worthy, beautiful, and enough in every season.

Losing my hair changed me.

Iโ€™m still learning to see my beauty without it. And if Iโ€™m honest, my patience isnโ€™t what it used to be either.

Thatโ€™s why I created two coloring books:

๐๐š๐ฅ๐๐ข๐ž ๐๐š๐๐๐ข๐ž๐ฌ โ€” a celebration of confidence, beauty, and strength beyond our hair.

๐€๐Ÿ๐Ÿ๐ข๐ซ๐ฆ๐š๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง๐ฌ, ๐๐ฎ๐ญ ๐ˆโ€™๐ฆ ๐ˆ๐ซ๐ซ๐ข๐ญ๐š๐ญ๐ž๐ โ€” for those of us who are healing, growing, and occasionally irritated by lifeโ€™s everyday audacity.

This month, Iโ€™ll be donating copies to the Regions Hospital Cancer Infusion Center.
