Carbohydrates can be confusing. Which ones are good for you? How much sugar is too much? And what should you actually look for on a nutrition label?

Join Open Hand Atlanta for a FREE 45-minute virtual class, All About Carbohydrates. A registered dietitian will cover how to identify carbohydrates on food labels, why fiber matters, and how much added sugar is recommended each day.

This past weekend, 44 patients received dental care through our Mobile Dental Clinic, thanks to the Georgia Baptist Health Care Ministry Foundation! We are incredibly grateful to these volunteers who helped care for our patients:

Because of their generosity, our patients were able to receive much-needed dental care at no cost.

Our next Mobile Dental Clinic is scheduled for June 4–5, 2027, and we are hoping to expand the clinic to 8:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m. both days, allowing us to serve even more patients.

Mobile dental care is coming back to Covington!

Willing Helpers Medical Clinic is partnering with Georgia Baptist Mobile Health Ministry to provide free dental services for uninsured adults in our community. These clinics help meet a real need for those who may not otherwise have access to care.

Services will include cleanings, fillings, and extractions, all provided by licensed volunteer dental professionals in a fully equipped mobile unit.

August 7, 2026 | 4:00 – 8:00 PM
August 8, 2026 | 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM

This clinic is available for individuals who are currently uninsured and fall under 200% of the federal poverty level. Appointments are first come, first served.
