The federal government makes rules that Kentucky Medicaid must follow when providing health care coverage. A federal law passed in July 2025 is changing the rules about who can get Medicaid and what some members must do to keep it. You may be affected if you are ages 19 to 64, qualify for Medicaid based only on income, and are not exempt.

The Kentucky Department for Medicaid Services has created a website where members can learn more about these new rules. Visit the Kentucky Health Benefit Exchange (KHBE) website to see these changes: https://buff.ly/RYrY5PG
