Meet Heidi, a breast cancer survivor and lifelong advocate for Breast Health. Her story highlights the importance of regular screenings that prevent life changing situations like hers.

Together, we can raise awareness and funds to fight breast cancer. You can attend community screening events on the Be Well Bus, sign the pink wrapped STPSO's vehicle, participate in community business Give Back events, grab a campaign t-shirt and much more!!

Today we are highlighting Pam, one of Braswell's Pharmacy Technicians for all her hard work, care, and dedication she brings to our team!

💬 Q&A Time

1️⃣ What inspired you to pursue a career in pharmacy, and what do you enjoy most about your role?
After leaving my HR job after 21 yrs I still wanted to do something where I could help people. When I started working at CVS within months they asked me to join the pharmacy and I was intrigued. The best part of working in the pharmacy is that I am able to help people get their medications!

2️⃣ What’s one thing you wish more people knew about the work pharmacists do?
That we don't just sit around counting pills all day. That there are many parts to being a pharmacist or pharmacy tech.

3️⃣ How do you stay motivated or centered during busy days in the pharmacy?
Quality coworkers.

4️⃣ What’s a fun fact about you or a hobby you enjoy outside of work that might surprise people?
I love to collect Hello Kitty's

5️⃣ What do you enjoy most about serving our community, and how does your work in the pharmacy help make a difference?
Keeping my community healthy.
