💜 Big-city level care, close to home.

We believe healthcare works best when we look at the whole person, not just one symptom or diagnosis.

That’s why our approach brings together mental health, primary care, nutrition, medication management, and wellness support to help you feel your best.

We’re also proud to offer specialized options like SPRAVATO® treatment for eligible patients with treatment-resistant depression and DNA-informed approaches that can help providers make more personalized decisions about medications and nutrition.

With multiple local locations and telehealth options, our goal is simple: make thoughtful, integrative care easier to access right here in our community. 🥰

💜 Some days, just getting out of bed feels hard.

You may feel overwhelmed, exhausted, disconnected, or like even the simplest tasks take more energy than you have to give.

On those days, we want you to know you don’t have to carry everything alone.

Our mental health therapists are here to provide support, help you work through what you’re experiencing, and build tools to help you feel more like yourself again.

If medication may be helpful, our Nurse Practitioners can also provide mental health medication evaluation and management as part of your care.

You deserve support, not just when things become unbearable, but whenever life starts to feel too heavy. 🌿

🧠 Have you ever wondered what mitochondria might have to do with autism?

You may remember mitochondria from science class as the “powerhouses” of our cells. Basically, they help our bodies make the energy we need to think, move, grow, digest food, and function every day.

Researchers have found that some people with autism also show differences in how their mitochondria are working.

That does not mean mitochondrial dysfunction causes autism. But it does give us another interesting piece of the puzzle.🤓

If the body is having trouble making or using energy efficiently, could that affect things like fatigue, digestion, development, stress tolerance, or brain function in some people?

A large 2024 review looked at 204 studies on this topic and found enough evidence to suggest that mitochondrial differences may be important for a subgroup of people with autism.

This is one of those areas of research that deserves more conversation and we’re excited to learn together. 💚

Growing older is not a disease. It's a natural part of life, and a privilege many of us hope to experience. 💜

While no supplement, treatment, or “quick fix” can stop time, the choices we make each day can support our energy, independence, confidence, and overall well-being for years to come.

You do not have to do everything perfectly. A walk, a balanced meal, a good night’s rest, a routine checkup, or time with someone you love all count.

The goal is not to stay young forever. It is to feel as strong, healthy, connected, and fully alive as possible in every season. 💪

Stress is a normal part of being human. Your nervous system is simply trying to protect you. 💛

The trouble starts when your body stays in "go mode” day after day without enough time to rest, reset, and recharge. Think of it like keeping your phone on 2% battery and wondering why everything is moving a little slower.

Your body may be asking for a break if you notice:

* Feeling tired but unable to relax
* Difficulty concentrating or feeling foggy
* Becoming irritated more easily
* Changes in your sleep
* Muscle tension, headaches, or physical discomfort
* Feeling emotionally numb or constantly on guard

💜 These signs do not mean you are failing. They may simply mean your system has been working overtime. Small moments of recovery matter: take a slow breath, step outside, stretch, laugh with someone you love, or give yourself permission to pause.

You were not designed to run on empty. For support, please reach out here: https://www.tworoadswellnessclinic.com/

AI can be a helpful tool, but it is not a replacement for therapy. 💜

Tools like ChatGPT may help you organize your thoughts, find journaling prompts, learn about mental health concepts, or prepare questions for your next appointment. They can be a useful starting point when you are trying to put difficult feelings into words.

But healing happens through safe, human connection. A licensed therapist can understand your personal history, recognize patterns, ask meaningful follow-up questions, assess concerns, and create a treatment plan tailored specifically to YOU. Therapy also provides something technology cannot: a genuine relationship built on trust, empathy, and accountability.

Think of AI as a resource you may use alongside professional support, not instead of it. And when something feels heavy, overwhelming, or unsafe, please reach out to a qualified mental health professional rather than trying to navigate it alone.

At Two Roads Wellness Clinic, we are here to listen, support you, and help you find the road forward. https://www.tworoadswellnessclinic.com/

Have you been feeling exhausted and overwhelmed? 😅😫 Our mental health therapist, Heather Woods, shares some tips and support to manage through it.

I have struggled with burnout several times throughout my life; some of those times have been during my career as a therapist. Within helping professions, it becomes quite easy to forget about yourself and place your sole focus on others. I quickly learned that we truly cannot pour from an empty cup

🥹 Sometimes life feels heavy, not because you are weak, but because you have been carrying so much for so long.

You do not have to minimize what you are feeling, pretend everything is fine, or wait until you reach a breaking point to ask for help.

Support can look like talking with someone who truly listens, setting down one responsibility, taking a breath, asking for practical help, or simply admitting, “I’m having a hard time.”

You were never meant to carry everything alone. We've got you! 🥰
