365 days of EDTC! 🎉

Our first year brought plenty of growth and some pretty incredible people along the way. We’re grateful for everyone who has been part of making EDTC what it is today.

Most of all, we’re grateful for another year ahead to keep showing up, creating space for healing and supporting those navigating eating disorder recovery. 💚

Life gets busy, and taking care of yourself can easily fall to the bottom of the list.

A little more rest. A boundary when you need one. Time with people who make you feel like yourself. Reaching out when things get heavy.

Here are a few ways to support your mental health in the everyday moments. đź’š

September is National Su***de Prevention Month. 💜🩵

While September brings added attention to su***de prevention, the responsibility to check in, listen, and take signs of struggle seriously exists year-round.

Awareness has a month. Prevention is every day.

Last week some of our staff attended the conference in Baltimore, fully immersing themselves in the latest conversations around eating disorder treatment and recovery. There's nothing quite like being in a room full of passionate individuals all working toward the same goal. đź’ś

Today is a big day for us đź’ś

We’re happy to premiere our official facility video, and we’re so proud to share it during National Eating Disorder Awareness Week!

This year’s theme is “Every BODY Belongs,” and it couldn’t be more aligned with what we do every single day at EDTC.

We built EDTC because we know how hard it is to find a place that truly gets it, a place that treats the whole person, not just the diagnosis. Our video gives you a real look at the environment, the team, and the philosophy that drives our care.

📊 A few facts worth knowing this week:
• Eating disorders have one of the highest mortality rates of any mental health condition
• 30 million Americans will be affected in their lifetime
• Only 1 in 10 people with an eating disorder receives treatment

Those numbers are why awareness matters. And they’re why we show up each and every day.

If you’ve been wondering whether treatment is right for you or someone you care about, we’d love to help you through that conversation. No pressure, just support. Reach out at the links in our bio.
