Meet Ariel! 💚

Ariel has been part of the Carmichael’s family for nearly 3 years as one of our Lead Customer Service Representatives. One of her favorite parts of the job is connecting with customers and working alongside her amazing coworkers each day.

Outside of work, Ariel stays busy serving at Truth Chapel, where she helps lead the nursery ministry and serves in several other ministries alongside her family.

💊 What should I do with expired or unused medication?
This is one of the most common questions we get!

At Carmichael’s, we now offer TakeAway Medication Recovery envelopes—a simple, safe way to dispose of unused or expired medications, including controlled substances.

How TakeAway Medication Recovery works:
✔️ Ask us for a TakeAway Medication envelope
✔️ Place unused or expired medications inside
✔️ Seal up the package
✔️ Drop it in the mail. It's safe, and postage is prepaid!

If you don’t have a TakeAway envelope:
👉 Check the FDA flush list. Some meds (like certain opioids) should be flushed right away if no take-back option is available.

👉 For most medications:
✔️ Mix with coffee grounds, dirt, or cat litter
✔️ Place the mixture in a sealed bag or container
✔️ Dispose of the mixture it in your household trash
