Adult Day Health services to include medication management & education, therapy reinforcement, caregiver education, personal cares & 2 nutritional meals included. At Alicia's Place, our mission is deeply rooted in ensuring that those who hold the Northwoods dear can continue to stay connected to it. By providing daytime services to support caregiving needs, we strive to create a warm and welcoming

environment where individuals feel like part of a caring family. Our dedicated staff and volunteers bring a compassionate touch to our services, fostering a sense of relaxation, joy and companionship in a setting that feels just like home.

We want to send a very special thank you to these incredibly kind and thoughtful ladies Terri, Marie, Eileen, Elizabeth, Rose, and Barbara for once again blessing us with a generous donation to help support field trips for Alicia’s Place clients this summer.
Your kindness goes so much farther than just dollars , you are helping create experiences, adventures, smiles, memories, and opportunities for our clients to enjoy things they may not otherwise get to experience. Knowing there are people in our community cheering them on means more than you know.

My heart is so full after such a wonderful day on Thursday!

A huge THANK YOU to Angela Peterson, Bill Peterson, Abby Peterson, Pekka Ruuskanen from Ponsse North America, Sherry Connor, Barbara Javoroski, and of course our volunteer Vicky Ratty for giving our Alicia’s Place clients such a special experience at Goodman Park.
They helped cross another item off our bucket list and created memories our clients will not forget.
The day was filled with so much kindness and fun brats, hot dogs, cold salads, an incredible ice cream sundae bar, games, painting projects, laughter, and time together. Every detail made the day feel extra special.
On top of that, the Peterson family generously donated to help support field trips this summer, and Ponsse gifted our clients and staff gear to wear and keep. Your generosity and community spirit mean more than words can express.
Thank you for giving our clients not just a picnic, but a day full of joy, inclusion, friendship, and memories. We are incredibly grateful for your support of Alicia’s Place ❤️

What a beautiful day filled with smiles, laughter, and memories!
Today we enjoyed an amazing horseback riding adventure at Silver Birch Ranch with the wonderful Ivy Bledsoe, followed by a relaxing picnic at Jack Lake and, of course a stop back in town for some delicious Yeti’s ice cream.

A huge thank you to Laura Albright and her husband Don for your generous donation that helped make today possible. Your kindness truly brought joy to our clients’ hearts.

Thank you as well to Bill and Sandy Fannin for graciously lending us your van so everyone could travel comfortably together for the day.

Your support means more than words can express.It truly takes a community to create moments like these, and we are so incredibly grateful for every person who contributes to helping the clients of Alicia’s Place experience joy, friendship, adventure, and meaningful memories. ❤️

Since opening Alicia’s Place LLC Adult Day & Respite Care, there are many things I wish I would have done differently. I often tell people, “I’m a nurse, not a businesswoman.” My heart has always been in caring for others. Nothing fills my cup more than knowing someone is receiving the best care possible outside of the love and care their own family provides.The amount of generosity and support this community along with neighboring communities has shown us is truly beyond words at times. The kindness, encouragement, and support we receive never go unnoticed.
A very special thank you to Penny Aderholdt for the beautiful surprise of flowers in our front planters this Monday morning. It brought warmth to my heart and tears to my eyes. Small acts of kindness like this remind me why we do what we do and how blessed we are to be surrounded by such an incredible community and families. 💐

Happy Mother’s Day to all the amazing women who step into the role of “mom” in the ways that matter most. Today we celebrate not only biological mothers, but also the grandmothers, aunts, sisters, foster moms, adoptive moms, bonus moms, caregivers, guardians, and every woman who loves, supports, protects, comforts, and shows up day after day with a mother’s heart.
In my field of work I am blessed to witness so many different forms of love and caregiving. Family is not always defined by birth , sometimes it is defined by devotion, patience, sacrifice, and unconditional care.
To every woman who has helped guide, nurture, advocate for, or care for another person; today we celebrate YOU. Thank you for the love you pour into others every single day.
A very special thank you to my mother and volunteer Carol Jefferson for always believing in me. She is my best friend and my biggest supporter. I love you mom. I would also like to say Happy Mother's Day to my wonderful volunteers Sue Hill, Vicky Ratty, Nancy Funk & Pam Wojnowski
