✨YOGA AT ROCKY POINT STARTS FOUR WEEKS FROM TODAY!!✨
This will be the 9th year of classes down at Rocky Point - can you believe it?!? There is nothing better than breathing under that gorgeous open sky overlooking the beautiful bay - ahhhh bliss!☀️
Here are a few FAQs that I've gotten over the years. But you are always welcome to message me if you still have questions after reading through this.
When is class? ⏰
Wednesday nights at 6:00pm. Starting the FIRST Wednesday in June (6/3/26) and ending on the LAST Wednesday in August (8/26/26)
Where is class? 🧭
We practice on the field to the right of the arch if you're looking at the bay. It's at the end of the old salt water swimming pool, and just before you hit the beach. If you wind up in the ocean you've gone too far 😉
Where should I park? 🚗
You can park in the lot at the end of Rocky Point Avenue (which is the street that the Blueberry Farm is on). Parking in this lot will give you the shortest walk to class. You are welcome to park in the other (bigger) lot at the opposite end of the park, but you'll have a bit more of a walk to get to class.
What if I've never done yoga before? 🙃
No problem! We love beginners! All classes have options for different levels of effort and ability. Remember, yoga means to "yoke" or to unite - it is simply the practice of marrying the breath to the body. As long as you're breathing and moving, you're doing yoga! And in savasana you don't even have to move! LOL.
What should I bring?
A yoga mat, a big beach towel or blanket to put under it, a water bottle, yoga blocks (if you own them - if not, no worries!), a smile, and your besties - yoga is always more fun with friends! Some yogis like to hang out after class, and chat and chill with a soft drink. And when it gets hot some of us even go for a dip in the bay after class!
What should I wear?
Comfortable clothes you can move in. Layers are best. It gets breezy down by the water!
How will I know if class is cancelled due to weather?
It will be posted on this page no later than 4pm on the day of class. Remember, even if it's SUPER HOT at your house, it's at least ten degrees cooler at Rocky Point. Those sea breezes are so refreshing!
How much does it cost?
$10 donations are gratefully accepted. Cash is preferred.
Do I need to make a reservation?
Nope! Just show up!
