June Is PTSD Awareness Month

Post-traumatic stress can affect individuals long after a traumatic experience has passed. It may show up as anxiety, sleep disruption, emotional numbness, or difficulty feeling safe, even when life appears “back to normal.”

At CORE Coping, we support individuals impacted by trauma with care that is paced, respectful, and evidence based. Healing is possible, and support can make a meaningful difference. Learn more at www.core-centers.com.

National Say Something Nice Day

Kind words can have more impact than we realize. A sincere compliment, acknowledgment, or expression of appreciation can shift someone’s mood and sometimes their entire day.

That kindness matters internally too. Therapy often focuses on changing how we speak to ourselves, especially when self-criticism becomes automatic. At CORE Coping, we help people build more compassionate inner dialogue. Learn more at www.core-centers.com.

Recognizing the Mental Health Impact of Service

Law enforcement professionals face high levels of stress, trauma exposure, and responsibility often without space to fully process its emotional impact. National Police Week is a time to acknowledge those challenges alongside service and sacrifice.

Mental health support can play a critical role in sustaining long-term well-being for first responders. At CORE Coping, we value providing a confidential, supportive space when it’s needed. Learn more at www.core-centers.com.

May Is Mental Health Awareness Month

Mental health is part of overall health, yet many people still delay support until they feel overwhelmed. Awareness means recognizing when something feels off and knowing that help is available before reaching a breaking point.

At CORE Coping, therapy is not about crisis alone. It’s about understanding patterns, building coping tools, and creating space for growth. If you’re considering support, learn more at www.core-centers.com.
