I’m not good at sitting still. I think that is why yoga and forest bathing call to me. They call me to my true presence and allow me to “still the fluctuations of the mind.” I have places I want to be today, people I want to see, but my body has had to step in and force the inaction and given me the gift of watching the spider web glistening in the sun damp with the morning dew. No spider to be seen… maybe she too has a cold and a swollen knee after busying herself with the web-spinning of life.

And I finally woke up! After more than 24 hours with no sleep I crashed for over 12 hours! Having a lovely cappucino, questioning all my packing choices and getting ready to head out to walk around Athens before heading to Paros tomorrow to start my 300 hour yoga teacher! Traveling alone hits a little different! Keep wanting to tell my people (you know who you are) all the cool, terrible, amazing things! Also, I am a verbal processor so there is a lot of talking to myself out loud when trying to work things out! PS if in a room and the lights don’t work just put the little card in the slot by the door and avoid calling the front desk because you think there is a power outage! Ha!

Lessons from nature: It was such a beautiful foggy morning on the beach, I couldn’t help but practice vrksasana(tree pose).. The sand reminded me about the importance of having a firm base and beginning again ❤️ The rocks in my pocket reminded me to ground down while reaching for the light, the smile on face reminded me about finding and acknowledging the joy of movement and breath and sweet moments💚💚💚
