Winkler's Wish Foundation A 501c3 non-profit bringing awareness to PTSD and providing resource assistance to Veterans suffering from PTSD issues.

This page is for veterans, families and friends to discuss PTSD topics and exchange knowledge helpful to themselves and others. Established to help veterans suffering from PTSD/PTSD issues and their families. Provide peer group meeting for veterans as a safe place to connect with other veterans suffering with PTSD. Provide assistance with locating support/services needed by veterans or their families which fall outside the ability of Winkler's Wish to directly provide. Host or attend community events with the focus on veteran PTSD, what it is, how it affects veterans, their families and friends and the communities they live in.

NEW UPDATE:
In light of the storm, many still recovering themselves or helping others and after discussion, Rick and I have decided to move the cookout to Saturday, Oct 24th. It will be at the same place in Twin Hills Park at the same time, 6:00pm.

We apologize for having to change again, but feel this is the best decision to go ahead and make now.

UPDATE: The steak cookout is officially being changed to the 17th of October.
1. Please respond if you prefer a ribeye steak or chicken thighs.

2. Please let us know if you can bring a dish and what it will be.

3. Start time for eating will be 6:00 pm.

Question to everyone,
Would Oct 17th work better?

There will not be a dinner on the 5th of October. We will be doing the steak cookout later in October. The date we are looking at is Saturday, the 10th. So we can purchase the appropriate amount of steaks, please respond if you will be able to attend the cookout and how many will attending with you.

A little late posting. The group at the January Winkler's Wish dinner/meeting was smaller but just as enjoyable. Good food with good people. The next dinner/meeting is Monday, Feb 2nd. We hope you can make it. If you haven't been able to attend in a while, we miss you.
