This transformation is about so much more than removing ink. It’s about giving someone the opportunity to look in the mirror and see themselves again.

Laser tattoo removal is a process, but results like these make every session worth it. Watching years of unwanted ink fade away and confidence return is one of our favorite transformations at The Vue.

Your past doesn’t have to be your permanent.

AGING WELL: Staying strong and independent as we age can start with recognizing small changes early, according to Dr. Courtney Stefanski, a board-certified physician in physical medicine and rehabilitation. The doctor, working in collaboration with home hospital bed provider Opera Beds, recommends six key habits for adults 65+ to age well.

1. Focus on strength. While some loss of muscle mass and strength is a natural part of aging, staying physically active and incorporating strength-based exercise can help maintain muscle function, balance and mobility. Exercises can be adapted to your individual ability, whether that means using resistance bands, doing bodyweight exercises or working on functional movements, such as standing up from a chair.

2. Fuel muscles with nutrition. Including protein with meals throughout the day can support muscle maintenance and growth, particularly alongside resistance training. Older adults can aim for around 1.2-1.6 grams of protein per kilogram of body weight per day to support muscle health.

3. Look out for early signs of declining mobility. Struggling to get out of a chair, finding stairs more difficult, feeling increasingly unsteady or avoiding activities because they feel physically challenging can be early signs that your strength or mobility is changing. Making small changes to activity and strength training can help support physical function.

4. Know when to step in and support a loved one. For families, it can be difficult to know when to offer more support without unintentionally taking away someone’s independence. The goal should always be to help a person remain as independent as possible. Repeated falls, difficulty completing everyday tasks, noticeable changes in walking or balance, or withdrawing from activities they previously enjoyed can all be signs that additional support may be needed.

5. Don’t underestimate the importance of sleep. Quality sleep supports energy, mood, cognitive function and physical recovery. Older adults may experience more fragmented sleep and spend less time in deeper stages of sleep. Prioritizing a consistent schedule, regular daytime activity and a comfortable environment can help support better sleep as we age.

6. Don’t wait for pain to become a problem. While some aches and pains can be expected, persistent pain, reduced range of motion or difficulty carrying out everyday movements can be signs that something needs attention. Speaking with a healthcare professional when pain or stiffness persists can help identify the underlying cause and provide appropriate treatment.

Sometimes lip filler isn’t about bigger lips. It’s about getting your lips back!

As we age, our lips naturally lose volume, structure, and definition, leading to thinner lips, fine lines, and wrinkles around the mouth.

Strategically placed filler can restore that lost volume, soften lines, redefine the lip border, and create a smoother, more youthful appearance.

The goal isn’t always transformation. Sometimes the best filler simply makes you look refreshed, softer, and years younger.

Not bigger. Not overfilled. Just beautifully restored. 🤍💋👄

ALZHEIMER’S CLUE: A large Stanford study is shedding new light on the potential connection between menopause treatment and brain health.

Women who reported using estrogen-only hormone therapy had 35% lower odds of Alzheimer’s-related brain pathology and 39% lower odds of dementia over their lifetimes, researchers found.

The study also uncovered differences in memory, independent functioning and biological markers. Here’s what the findings could mean — and what they don’t yet prove.
