PTSD does not look the same for every person.
Some people feel constantly on edge. Others feel shut down, exhausted, or disconnected. Many people move between both.
An EEG does not diagnose PTSD, and there is no single “PTSD pattern” on an EEG. But it may offer helpful insight into brainwave patterns related to sleep, focus, alertness, and regulation.
