Who we are...
Healthy Futures Pulaski County is an action-oriented community coalition that serves to encourage the residents of Pulaski County to invest in their health by adopting healthy lifestyles, thereby creating a healthier community. Kids (Adolescents Committed To Improvement Via Exercise) , the HFPC hopes to teach elementary and middle school children the importance of adopting an exerci
se regimen at at a young age. This program is not only designed to get kids up and moving but to adopt healthy eating and study habits as well. The goal of the HFPC through the A.C.T.I.V.E Kids program is to promote all around wellness to the student. Emphasizing how discipline on the racecourse can lead to discipline in the classroom, the program serves to motivate and encourage children to develop discipline by showing how crucial it is to their success both now and in the future. As part of our A.C.T.I.V.E (Adults Committed To Improvement Via Exercise) adults program, the HFPC works to inspire people of every age (especially those over 50) to adopt an healthy lifestyle that includes regular physical fitness and healthy eating.
