Everyone, meet J. We can’t reveal her full identity, but she has an incredible story that deserves to be shared with the world. She came to Connie Maxwell without hope or joy and was looking for a safe place to call home. J integrated into the Connie Maxwell family quickly, where she became known as helpful, kind, and concerned about the well-being of others. Then, J took the biggest step of healing in her life- she accepted Jesus as her savior! Because of the intentional ministry, love, and consistency of so many Connie Maxwell staff, she came to see that the one who could offer her true joy and redemption was God, and J was recently baptized and now follows Jesus as her Lord and friend. She serves in kids ministry at church, where she gets the chance to pour out the love she has received to others. As she approaches graduation, J has sights set on nursing school, and she will spend her whole life bringing hope and healing to others, just as hope and healing has been brought to her.
