Before the paint, before the furniture, and before we officially opened our doors, this room was covered in prayer.

Friends, family, and members of our community filled these walls with Scripture, prayers, encouragement, and words of hope for every person who will walk through the doors of The Doc’s Office.

Because of their love, prayers, and faithfulness, our members, our provider, and this clinic were surrounded with God’s truth, love, and protection before we ever officially opened.

Those words may now be covered by paint, but they have been sealed within these walls and will always remain part of the foundation of this room—and of the care we provide here. Though they can no longer be seen, they continue to surround this space and every patient who enters it.

We are incredibly grateful to everyone who prayed over this clinic, spoke life into it, and helped us begin this journey with faith, love, and God at the center of it all.

We created this clinic to give patients something different: more time, easier access, clear pricing, and a provider who truly knows them.

With membership, routine primary care visits and basic annual labs are included. When something is not covered, we review the cost with you beforehand so there are no surprise bills. We have also secured competitive lab and pharmacy pricing to help make care more affordable.

Our goal is to be proactive with your health—not just react when something has already become worse.

Building Something Different

Every detail inside The Doc's Office is being chosen with intention.

Instead of filling the clinic with standard office furniture, Melissa has spent months searching for pieces that have character and history.

An old doctor's storage cabinet.

A vintage fan.

A 1940s medical procedure floor lamp that is currently being restored.

An old desk lamp that will soon have a new purpose.

These aren't just decorations. They're part of creating a space that feels warm, welcoming, and personal from the moment you walk through the door.

We believe healthcare should feel different—and the environment should reflect that.

Melissa has spent years caring for patients in a healthcare system where providers are often expected to do more in less time.

She has seen patients struggle to get appointments, leave visits with unanswered questions, or feel like no one had time to understand the complete picture.

She believed primary care could feel different.

Melissa created The Doc’s Office because she was tired of nonclinical decisions and insurance barriers getting in the way of good care. She wanted the freedom to practice the way she believes patients deserve - with time to listen, clear explanations, thoughtful follow-up, and relationships that develop over time.

This is not about rushing through as many appointments as possible.

It is about knowing our members, understanding their health goals, teaching them about their health, and being present when they need guidance.

Healthcare should feel personal again.

That is why Melissa created The Doc’s Office.

You can expect time to explain what has been going on.

You can expect her to ask questions, listen closely, and look at the full picture.

You can expect clear explanations. And if something is complicated, you should hear some of Melissa’s comparisons - they can be quite funny.

You can expect to be involved in decisions about your health.

When patients feel nervous about an examination, test, or procedure, Melissa explains what will happen before she begins. She makes sure they understand, feel prepared, and are comfortable moving forward.

Most importantly, you can expect to be treated like a person, not simply the next appointment on the schedule.

That is the kind of primary care we are building at The Doc’s Office.
