Back in April(?), I had to shower at my momā€™s house bc we lost power and I didnā€™t have any hydration oils for my face so I stopped at CVS, looked at the ingredients and grabbed this one.

I must say I was pleasantly surprised! The DERMA E Anti-Wrinkle Treatment Oil is budget friendly (in the $20 range), itā€™s a facial treatment designed to smooth fine lines, deeply hydrate dry skin, and improve overall texture & I would buy it again because of its clean ingredients & feeling on my skin!

Random people still ask me questions about products so I thought Iā€™d highlight this one real quick, that is all!

Spoiler alert, I donā€™t wash my hair every day (2x a week if Iā€™m being honest šŸ«£) so I turn to dry shampoo powder AND every once in a while, some hair perfume.. a lightweight fragrance mist keeping my locks smelling fresh. I LOVE this spray but pretty sure itā€™s not designed for hair as it contains alcohol.

Obviously itā€™s causing some damage to my hair, per my previous post šŸ™‚ā€ā†•ļø. Are there any brands specifically made for hair that we love? The more natural the better please and thank you šŸ„°

One of my FAVORITE Solle supplements (my husbandā€™s too;) I take 2 capsules each morning due to fluctuating and declining estrogen, leading to common cognitive symptoms like ā€œbrain fog,ā€ memory issues, difficulty concentrating, and mood changes. Super fun.

Any other woman over 40 get the question, ā€œwhy is your hair always in a sloppy pony, it looks so pretty down?ā€ And you feel like answering, ā€œUSED TO look pretty free & flowing is the key word.. my texture has been off for the last freaking decade, I canā€™t manage how oily or dry it seems to stay, somehow simultaneously & it needs to stop touching my faceā€. Seriously though, Iā€™m this close to chopping it all off just like Shelby.

I follow the rules; only wash 2x/week with sulfate free shampoos, hydrate my ends with conditioning mask, use a boar bristle hair brush to massage/stimulate the scalp, hats in the sun most of the time, tried a silk pillowcase (nope.), and I get enough iron, protein & omega3 vitamins.

On the flip side, I try to manage my stress and hormones on a daily basis but I also never drink enough water. Are these the only things Iā€™m doing wrong? What is the answer here. Itā€™s just hair, I know, but Iā€™m over it šŸ¤ŖšŸ™ƒ.

I still like & use my Nettle Hair Treatment Oil but would love if you had any other ideas šŸ˜˜

Until then, another day, another sloppy pony.
