Kate Green Wellness

Kate Green Wellness World traveler, hiker, and intuitive movement coach. Founder of Kate Green Wellness offering Pilates, yoga, and transformational retreat experiences.

Offering a fully private studio space in the historic Crown Point square or within your home. Kate creates a safe and comfortable environment for clients of all ages, levels, and mobility. Kate’s journey first began as a yoga student back in 2006. Her sister, and fellow instructor Karrie, encouraged her to take a class with her; and Kate just never stopped going! In 2013, she decided to share yoga

with others by becoming a yoga instructor herself by completing Inner Balance Yoga’s 200-hour Yoga certification. In 2011, Kate began her Pilates journey. She loved how Pilates gave her a better understanding of her core and accented her yoga practice. She is a Nationally Certified Pilates Teacher and graduate of the Balanced Body Comprehensive Pilates program. Besides earning a BS from Ball State University, she is an AFAA certified personal trainer and group instructor, and certified in TRX group training, TRX Yoga, and Balanced Body Bodhi Suspension Training. Kate loves to keep things fun and encouraging, while challenging people to do their best. Her private clients appreciate the space she provides for them during their sessions. When she’s not at the studio teaching or coming up with one of her creative lesson plans, she’s with her faithful canine companion, Lucy, or out on a hiking trail, traveling the world.

This chapter of my life has been a little bit like the mountains I’ve been climbing. There are ascents and descents, and neither lasts forever.

Some days you feel strong and like you could keep going forever. Other days you slip on a rock, land on your ass, mumble “f**k,” and get back up.

And then there are the moments when you stop, look around, and take it all in.

I can’t tell you how many times I’ve looked around and said to Lulu, “How lucky are we that we get to live here?”

But there’s also a lot behind the pretty pictures that you don’t see.

There’ve been moments of, “WTH are you doing?” Grief for an old life and a future I once imagined. Ugly crying. Letting go of things that no longer serve me—and realizing some things were never mine to carry in the first place.

There’s also been so much joy. Adventure. Growth. Trusting. Remembering what excites me and doing more of it.

I’m slowing down. Staying present. And realizing there’s beauty in that, too.

I don’t have everything figured out. I’m still somewhere on the trail.

But I’m grateful to be exactly where I am.

For the grief. The joy. The fear. The mess. The adventure. The beauty.

Grateful for all of it.

Glacier National Park, 2005 🤍

I was looking through some old photos recently and came across these from my very first trip to Glacier National Park.

This was before Instagram, before we documented every moment, and before we were constantly connected. I didn’t even have cell service on this trip. I remember finding a pay phone just so I could call my dad and tell him, “You have to see this place.” Then I loaded a roll of film into my Nikon and tried to capture the most beautiful place I had ever seen.

I remember feeling completely immersed in the experience.

I left knowing I wanted more experiences like this in my life.

At the time, I had no idea that feeling would eventually become part of my work. I just knew how important it was to slow down, spend time in nature, move my body, breathe deeply, and reconnect with myself.

Twenty years later, I returned to Montana to host my first retreat here. Last year, I had the privilege of bringing an incredible group of women to experience this beautiful place, and this September, I get to do it again.

Looking at these photos now, I’m reminded that some experiences quietly shape the course of our lives.

If you’ve been dreaming of a few days to unplug, reconnect with yourself, and experience the beauty of Montana, I’d love to welcome you this September.

A few days in the mountains can change more than your scenery.

At Kate Green Wellness, I create retreats that blend Pilates, nature, adventure, and meaningful connection—creating space to slow down, reconnect, and come home to yourself.

This September, we’ll gather in Whitefish, Montana for movement, hiking, nourishing meals, breathtaking scenery, and the kind of space that helps you hear yourself again.

This retreat is for the woman who has been doing a lot, carrying a lot, and knows it may be time to choose herself for a few days.

There are still a few spaces available, and I’d love to welcome you into this experience.

Send me a message if you’ve been thinking about joining us or would like the details. 🤍

Somewhere along the way, many of us forgot how good it feels to simply slow down.

To rest.
To breathe deeply.
To spend time in nature.
To share meaningful conversation.
To reconnect with ourselves.

This September, I’m inviting a small group to gather in the mountains of Whitefish, Montana for five days of Pilates, yoga, nature, connection, and renewal.

If your soul has been craving a pause, this might be exactly what you’ve been looking for.

The past several months have been a season of big change for me — some planned, some completely unexpected.

In true “trust the universe” fashion, I sold my house, closed my studio after many wonderful years, went on a pilgrimage to Egypt, and have been taking time to listen for what this next chapter is meant to look like.

In other words… life decided it was time for a pretty big reset.

If you were ever a client, came to classes years ago, joined a retreat, or have simply followed along with my work — I just want to say thank you. Truly.

The time spent working with so many thoughtful, dedicated people has meant more to me than I can fully put into words.

Watching people grow stronger, reconnect with their bodies, and build confidence in themselves — both physically and mentally — has always been the most meaningful part of what I do.

That part isn’t going anywhere.
It’s just evolving.
More retreats.
More space for connection.
More room for travel and exploration.

I’m excited (and a little curious) to see where this next chapter leads.

And for anyone who feels quietly called — there are a few spots left for Montana later this year.

Grateful for all of it 🤍
