We are so proud of Christopher who has been chosen to represent Team Virginia at the this summer in Minnesota! Christopher is a dedicated athlete, team player, and an all-around awesome person and we are so excited for him and for our community to be represented at such an awesome event! Way to go, Chris!

Another way you can celebrate Autism Acceptance Month is by watching “Life in the Heartland”. Innisfree was honored to be a part of the the first episode of season 3 which highlights people with autism in rural Virginia and you can watch it here: https://www.vpm.org/watch/2025-09-29/autism-in-rural-virginia-breaking-barriers-finding-identity-and-building-community. From the episode:
“Our unofficial motto is, ‘Together we can make it,’” executive director Rorie Hutter said. “There’s obviously a bit of a double meaning there, because we make things here. Then there’s also that aspect that there’s power in community, and together we can make things happen that we couldn’t make happen as individuals.”
