For mental health awareness, I wanted to do something a little different. I want you to remember the year that you almost lost your battle to mental illness or addiction. You know, THAT year. The worst year of your life.

And I want you to recognize all of the stuff you’ve done since then.

The idea is that you can look at your tattoo and think about all the things you would have missed out on if you let your darkest moment take you. All the people you never would have met. All of the good memories you would have missed out on because it would have been so much easier to just give up. But you didn’t. And now you’re here. And I’m so proud of you.
