The REAL restaurant trick
Parents and people who pack lunches or snacks for themselves don’t know :
Pack pasta or pasta salad you made at home (use: celery, beans, olives, cukes, cherry tomatoes, cold chicken, tuna or sardines, cheese, or plain lettuce or diced up fruit in a small deli to go cup and put the dressing preferably vinegar based in a 1–2 oz portion cup.
Kids mix it at lunch. you can too
No soggy food.
No bacteria party.
This is how restaurants keep food safe for hours. you can buy these products in inverness at: Apex Office Supplies, right on 44 at 41. the place is so cute inside and full of restaurant supplies that you can't find anywhere else. they are very friendly and yes, you can shop without owning a restaurant. Walmart bento boxes are ridiculous and ice paks are heavy. go visit apex and you'll see a sleeve of the small salad dressing cups 1 oz with lids or 2 oz up to 4 oz size and all sizes of to go containers and cups with lids. sometimes they have good stuff on their clearance rack in the doorway.

portion cups
deli containers
Plus their cleaning supplies for restaurants and the schools are never beat by the ordinary cleaning products from dollar tree or walmart or aldi. commercial stuff lasts longer, works better and is worth every penny. I still use the floor cleaning agents at home on my floors - a gallon of commercial floor sanitizer will go one full year ( and it doesn't need rinsed) Its concentrated so make sure to follow directions. :)
Ask me questions about food and keeping safe. I'll be sitting here writing more things for my website. :) Miss you all! -Despina
