On January 27, 2025 Curt received his Kidney Transplant. We received a call about midnight. It was a genetic match and we had 3hrs to get to Vanderbilt.We had to drive the truck because I'd wrecked my car. Four days earlier a dog ran across the road in front of me. It was storming on us the whole way. By 1:30 that afternoon George Golden was born. Little did we know how this would change our lives. Some say we were just surviving before the surgery. With everything that we have been through. That statement was true, but atleast I still had Curt.
