I trained as a singer for years. I performed. I taught voice.

And I still did not have all the answers, until I went back to school and learned the science behind the voice.

That knowledge changed everything. Not just for my own voice, but for every singer, speaker, and performer I have worked with since.

That is exactly what I am sharing in my FREE LIVE Voice Breakthrough Session this Tuesday. The things I wish I had known a long time ago.

If your voice matters to your work, your performance, or your confidence, I would love for you to join us.

If you found yourself in more than one of those slides, that is not a coincidence.

These are the exact frustrations I hear most often from the singers, speakers, teachers, and professionals I work with. And what they all have in common is this: they have been working hard.

But without clarity on what is actually getting in the way, effort alone does not always move the needle.

That is exactly what we are working through together in my FREE LIVE Voice Breakthrough Session this Tuesday.

Her vocal folds looked completely fine on the scope.

But her voice was fatigued, her high notes were gone, and she had no idea why. She had tried everything she knew, and nothing was moving the needle.

Once we looked underneath, at what was actually contributing to the fatigue and the unreliability, her voice started to shift. And so did her confidence.

That is the work. Not more exercises. Finding exactly what your voice needs.

That is what I am covering in my FREE LIVE Voice Breakthrough Session this Tuesday.

If you have been struggling with your voice and cannot figure out why, this is for you.

Next Tuesday I am hosting a free live Voice Breakthrough Session. Not more exercises. Not another list of tips.

A real conversation about what is actually holding your voice back and what becomes possible once you have that clarity.

I will be answering questions live. So whatever you have been carrying around about your voice, bring it.

Resting your voice helps. But if rest is the only thing keeping your voice going, that is not a solution. That is a band aid.

Because rest recovers the vocal folds. It does not change the pattern of how you are using your voice. And the moment you go back to your full week of singing, teaching, or presenting, the fatigue comes right back.

That pattern is exactly what I am breaking down in my free live Voice Breakthrough Session this Tuesday.

That is a borrowed technique. And it is one of the most frustrating places a singer can live, because the voice shows you what it is capable of, but it will not tell you how to get there consistently.

Most voice problems do not start with one bad day.

They start with five habits, repeated every day, for months, until the voice finally gives out and stops bouncing back.

The frustrating part is that none of these habits feel damaging in the moment. Clearing your throat feels like relief. Pushing through noise just feels like effort. Skipping breaks feels like productivity.

But they compound. And over time, they add up to a voice that can no longer keep up with your life.

The good news (and this is important) these are patterns. Not permanent damage. Patterns can be changed.

Save this. Share it with someone who speaks for a living.

And if your voice is already struggling, book a Strategy Call. Link in bio.

When your voice gets tired, hoarse, or starts giving out, that is not just inconvenient. That is a signal.

Most people ignore it. They rest over the weekend, come back Monday, and push through again. And for a while, that works. Until it does not.

Here is what that signal is usually telling you:

Something in the way you are using your voice every day is creating more load than it can recover from. It is not about how much you talk. It is about how you talk, the habits, the tension, the breath support, the small things repeated over and over that no one ever told you were a problem.

As a Vocal Therapist, finding that root cause is exactly what I do. And once we find it, the voice can turn around faster than most people expect.

You do not have to keep managing it. You can fix it.

Michelle's situation is one I see more than people realize.

A singer who also uses her voice professionally all day. By the time she came to me, she was exhausted and frustrated, not because she wasn't trying, but because no one had actually looked at what was driving it.

That is the part most people skip.

If your voice keeps letting you down no matter what you do, swipe through her story. You might recognize yourself in it.

And if you do, my Voice Strategy Call is the best place to start. Link in bio.

A lot of people think vocal fatigue is just part of life.

So they keep pushing through...

“Maybe I just talked too much today.”

“Maybe I need tea.”

"Maybe I just need rest.”

But your voice was designed to work with you, not against you.

If speaking leaves your throat tight, your voice raspy, or your energy drained by the end of the day, your body may be compensating more than it should.

That’s usually where frustration starts.
