What does the Tree Pose symbolize?

Trees have always been powerful images in every culture. They symbolize life, growth, strength and balance, rooting down to the ground and rising up to the sky at the same time.

Physical Benefits: Tree Pose strengthens the thighs, calves, ankles and spine. It stretches the groins and inner thighs, chest and shoulders. Tree Pose increases the range of motion in the hips and deeps the thorax. It helps relieve sciatica and reduces flat feet. It also improves general balance.

Home remedies for certain eye conditions:
Conjunctivitis: Amla is an excellent remedy for dealing with conjunctivitis. You can also prepare a decoction from coriander and use it as an eyewash to reduce burning, swelling, and redness.

Burning sensation in eyes: Take a cotton pad and soak it in rose water, milk, or aloe vera juice. Let the cotton pad stay on your closed eyes for about ten to twenty minutes.

Stressed and dry skin around the eyes: Gently rub a drop of almond oil above and under the eyes to keep it smooth and ease the stress.

Redness: Application of a paste of milk and castor oil or sandal and milk is a beneficial Ayurveda eye treatment.

Be present….
I have been experiencing :
🔥agitated - sensitive small noise , small changes.
🔥can’t sleep - my brain 🧠 was replaying what happened at work, all stupid mistakes I made, things to be done , things overdue…
🔥body ache - feel pain on the shoulders, lower back; headache, skin flares…
🔥anxiety - I could breakdown to cry in a second…
I felt hopeless… I didn’t know what to do: I had brain fog in multiple important meetings at work; I couldn’t say no to any of my work requests (I didn’t want to let others down); never requested for days off as I gotta be responsive to my projects, clients coworkers … while my 2year old daughter got pink eye waiting for me to care and company….
I felt torn. This was burnout.
I left out my meditation ; dropped out jappa chanting… Left all spiritual teachings behind, my mind attached with all material miseries leashed out like wildfire burning 🔥 me from inside out…
Tonight , I picked up my chanting malas, sat down in a quiet space and breath out whatever no longer served me… it was a long sigh-out… it was good… it left me with a small space for peace …
Tonight, I am committed to keep chanting and meditation as my daily practice in good time or bad time..
There is always goods and bads in life; it is part of the bumpy journey… I shall experience and embrace the journey knowing this is the way home…

My 20months old kid got pink eye; My husband was called from daycare asking us to pick her up asap , while both of us are working.

I was worried about my kid but in the same time, I felt : I had to drop everything at work - left my work unfinished made me feel unaccomplished. My work is undone.
I took my daughter outside thought the sunlight and outdoor vibe would uplift her mood while she through herself on the ground; screaming out of her lung, kicking and tossing in the public- yes, people walking by, saw it. People in the car , saw it. I could literally feel all rays of eyes shooting through me - I felt naked! I felt shamed and I was .
My feelings, were taunting. Frustration turned into sense of failure, turned into helplessness, turning into hopeless.
That very moment, I questioned myself if i am even a material. At that very moment, I just want to disappear.
Then, I saw this magic scene - my husband Parth who also dropped everything to get our daughter squatted down. He kept a little distance from my out-of- control kid and just be there looking at her without saying anything.
He was there, tried to be at my daughter’s height and just looking at her kindly - I can feel his love transporting to Shyla(my kid’s name) through this quiet gaze.
Shyla stopped crying.
I, standing in the back, tensing all muscles, was trying to figure out what had happened:
When I left my work: my mind is still at work. I was frustrated because my mind was still attached to work. I didn’t notice that but Shyla did (sometimes, I am very amazed on how sensitive kids can be, even without proper language skills). Parth, on the other hand, he has always been present. He has always been there for her, for our daughter.
I learnt a good lesson today. A lesson that is beyond parenting skills.

Thank you Parth 💗🙏

Enjoy watermelon 🍉 before the summer end!
Watermelon 🍉 is my favorite summer fruit. It’s cold in potency and sweet in taste, which makes it a Kapha incasing and pitta pacify 🍉
🌿Here are the Ayurvedic benefits:
🌱 Daha - relieves burning 🔥 sensation
🌱shrmapaha- relieves fatigue

As the Kapha character fruit, avoid having watermelon 🍉 in the evening time or if there is cold, sinusitis on-site .💪🙏
