🏆 THE PROCESS 🏆
Every Sunday, we remind you of the process because it's the process that drives results. 💪

I’ve been reading about Nick Saban, the legendary head coach of Alabama football, who’s run one of the most successful programs of all time.

What’s interesting? His goal each year isn't to win a National Championship or a conference title. 🏅

His goal is simple: to get better every single day.

Here’s how he does it—and how you can too:
🔑 Invest your time; don’t just spend it.
When his team is in the weight room, watching film, or on the field, they’re not just going through the motions. They’re investing that time to get better.

At practice, his players give 100% to every drill, every play, and compete—no matter the circumstances.

In games, no matter the opponent or the score, the goal is simple: win every single play.

So, here’s my challenge to you this Sunday:
💥 Are you investing your time or just spending it?
💥 Trust and dedicate yourself to the process.
💥 Wake up each day with the intent of winning the day.

When you do, everything else will take care of itself. 🙌

Have a GREAT Sunday, and let’s get ready for an awesome week ahead—regardless of the results!

⚖️ Frustrated by the Scale? ⚖️

A lot of people struggle mentally because they expect their weight to go down in a straight line. 📉

We get frustrated when we see fluctuations and start thinking about quitting.
But here’s the reality: Your weight is supposed to fluctuate.
It’s completely normal and something you should expect!
Your weight will go down a bit, up a bit, spike, drop, and sometimes stay the same. Yes, it can be frustrating, but it’s part of the process. 💥

Here are some factors that can cause daily weight fluctuations:
💧 Fluid intake
💦 Fluid loss
🧂 Sodium intake
💩 Bowel movements
🍽 Time since your last meal
🥗 High fiber intake
😣 Bloating
🌸 Hormones (like your time of the month)
😴 Quality of sleep (affects hormones, water retention, and digestion)
😓 Stress levels (also affects hormones and water retention)
🍝 Higher carb days (more carbs = more water retention for a few days)
🍕 Large, relaxed meals (can increase weight for a few days due to extra calories and sodium)

Since you're only weighing in once per week during the challenge, a lot can impact that one number.

If you want the most accurate picture of your weight, try weighing yourself daily and calculating your weekly average. Here's how:

✅ Take your daily weight for the week, add it up, and divide by the number of weigh-ins. This way, you're not relying on just one day to assess your progress.

And remember:
The scale is just one form of data. There are plenty of other ways to track your success, including:
📊 InBody scans
📏 Inches lost
📸 Progress pictures
👖 How your clothes are fitting
🎉 Non-scale victories (like creating healthy habits, boosting energy, better sleep, how you feel, and what you’re able to do)

Never forget: We change by feeling good, not by feeling bad. 💪
Have a great weekend, everyone!

🥱 Bored Yet? 🥱

GOOD!!! 💥

When we’re doing a challenge, it’s easy to get bored—and guess what? That’s actually a good thing, not a bad one.

Why?
Because when it comes to winning at anything, boredom is a requirement for long-term success.

Success happens when you do the basics over and over again.🔑

Think about this:
Legendary coach John Wooden won 10 NCAA championships at UCLA by teaching even All-American athletes how to correctly put on their socks and tie their shoes. Why? Because avoiding blisters would keep them in the game. Those small, basic habits compounded over time lead to their success.

Too often, people think boredom means something is wrong. But the truth is, boredom is a sign you're on the right track.
You're mastering the basics, and that’s what creates real results!

That said, I get it. Eating the same healthy meals can get old. But you don’t have to sacrifice variety to stay on track.

Here are a few ways to mix it up while sticking to the basics:
🌱 Try new seasonings
🍽 Pair different foods
🔥 Experiment with cooking styles
📖 Try out new healthy recipes
🥗 Add more fresh meals to your plan

Remember, it’s okay for the plan to change a bit as long as the goal stays the same. 🙌

Now it’s your turn!
👉 Comment below with your favorite way to stay focused when you start feeling bored. How do you keep your head in the game?

🧠 Behavior Change Mindset 🧠

Our minds are powerful tools! The questions we ask ourselves directly shape the answers we get—and those answers determine our actions.

The best part?
You are in control of the questions you ask, and that means you control the answers you receive.

Here are my top 3 questions when I want to solve a problem and make positive progress:
1️⃣ How can I?
This question opens the door to solutions instead of focusing on reasons why something can’t be done. I’ve trained myself to ask this every time I face a challenge—and it’s been life-changing.

2️⃣ Hypothetically, how could I make this work?
This removes any mental barriers and allows me to think creatively and outside the box.

3️⃣ What is the most important next step to achieving my goal?
This question cuts through overwhelm and moves me into action.

When your goals feel overwhelming, ask yourself what one action you can take in the next 5 minutes to move closer to your goal.

Once you take that step, ask again and keep moving forward, one small action at a time.

💡 Each time you ask, you get closer to your goal.

It’s simple, but incredibly effective.

Now, I want to hear from you!

💡 Week 4 Reminder 💡

As we head into Week 4, it's normal for some "shoulding" to creep in... You know, that voice in your head saying, "I should have done this," or "I should be doing that."

But here's the thing:
"Should" equals shame.
And shame leads to negative emotions, which then fuel negative behaviors.

The truth is, we change by feeling good, not by feeling bad.
"Should" also keeps us stuck in the past. But we're not living in the past—we're focusing on what we can control moving forward. 🙌

The only time "should" is helpful? When it's a cue to course-correct.
For example: Didn’t meal prep this weekend? You might be thinking, "I should have meal prepped."
✅ Use that thought to learn, build better systems, and crush it next weekend. Turn a negative into a positive!

So, next time you catch yourself "shoulding," remember: Progress happens when we focus on what we can do, not what we should have done.

You've got this! 💪
