💊 Tuesday Tip with Dana: Let’s Talk Flu Season!

September is here, which means it’s time to start thinking about your annual flu vaccine. This year’s vaccine has been updated to help protect against the flu viruses expected to circulate during the 2026–2027 season.

The CDC recommends an annual flu vaccine for everyone 6 months of age and older, with limited exceptions. Vaccination is especially important for adults 65 and older and people with chronic conditions such as asthma, heart disease or diabetes.

September and October are generally the best months to get vaccinated…so don’t wait until flu season is in full swing!

Flu vaccines will be available at Lake Martin Pharmacy. Talk with your healthcare provider or stop by and speak with Dana about the right time to receive yours.
