BIG NEWS FOR RURAL HEALTHCARE 📣
Ivy Creek Healthcare has been awarded two grants totaling more than $2.19 million through the Alabama Rural Health Transformation Program.
Here’s what it means for Elmore and Tallapoosa counties:
✅ Strengthening diagnostic imaging
✅ Establishing emergency telepsychiatry and telemedicine services, including real-time access to cardiology, neurology, and behavioral health specialists
✅ Creating an in-house microbiology laboratory
✅ Supporting non-emergency medical transportation
✅ Upgrading electronic health record and cybersecurity systems
✅ Improving care coordination and protecting patient information
