Some people are all alone in the world.

An act of kindness can be the difference between life and death. But even more than that, simple outreach to a human who is suffering sends ripples of compassion into the world.

Thanks to Padamnarayan Giri for recognising that suffering and selflessly giving his time and energy to counter the sadness and isolation the world too often brings.

Sometimes, all we need to do is notice - and lend a helping hand.

The man's job was to carry heavy loads his whole life. Getting him to the hospital wasn't easy since the flood destroyed the bridge. But he is now in the hospital receiving care. ☮️
