A Little Telehealth Reminder from one of our LPCs…

Sometimes the unexpected can show us a better option!

“A recent client was scheduled for an in-person counseling session, but when car trouble came up at the last minute, we switched to telehealth. What could have been a stressful inconvenience turned into a surprisingly positive experience.”

Afterward, the client shared how easy, comfortable, and convenient the online session was—and actually chose to schedule the next session virtually!

“I love hearing feedback like this because telehealth can remove some of the barriers that make it difficult to prioritize your mental health. No commute, no rushing across town, and you can connect from a comfortable, private space.”

Sometimes flexibility is exactly what helps us keep showing up for ourselves.

If you’ve been putting off counseling because of a busy schedule, transportation, or simply the logistics of getting to an office, telehealth may be a great option for you.

Your mental health matters—and sometimes making it easier to get there makes all the difference. 🤍

Thanks for sharing Ashley!

🇺🇸 Honoring & Remembering This Memorial Day 🇺🇸

This Memorial Day, we pause to remember and honor the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country.

For many, this day is also deeply personal—a time to reflect on grief, loss, sacrifice, and the loved ones who are missed.

Holidays can bring up a wide range of emotions. Whether you’re gathering with family, remembering someone special, or simply navigating a difficult season, your feelings are valid.

Finding Peace in the Middle of Life’s Storms

Life can feel overwhelming at times—filled with uncertainty, stress, grief, or anxiety.

In those moments, it can be comforting to remember:
“Cast all your anxiety on Him because He cares for you.” – 1 Peter 5:7

Faith can be a powerful source of strength and hope, but that doesn’t mean we have to carry every burden alone.

Seeking counseling is not a sign of weak faith—it can be a meaningful step toward healing, growth, and wholeness.

You were never meant to do life alone.

Motherhood is beautiful, rewarding, exhausting, overwhelming, and everything in between.

This Mother’s Day, we want to remind all moms, grandmothers, stepmoms, caregivers, and mother figures: your mental health matters too.

It’s okay to ask for help. It’s okay to need rest. It’s okay to put yourself on your own priority list.

Whether you're navigating parenting stress, anxiety, relationship challenges, or burnout, support is available.

You deserve care, too.

May is Mental Health Awareness Month!

Mental health is just as important as physical health.

Checking in with yourself can be as simple as asking:
- How am I really feeling?
- What do I need more of right now?
- What can I let go of?

Therapy isn’t only for crisis moments—it can also be a space for growth, healing, and building healthier coping tools.

This month, let’s help reduce stigma by talking openly about mental wellness.
