There are good ideas and there are God ideas. The ones we manufacture based on mood, exposure, and/or emotion, and the ones God develops in us, that often feel intimidating, too big, too far-fetched and will cost us something. Sometimes it's something you never in a million years saw yourself doing. Custom jewelry? Me?
This IDEA (that has become a reality) I'm about to share wouldn't exist (at least not yet) had I never opened The Well Frequency in Prosper.
I had a speaking engagement in Maryland. The host of the conference gave me a few gifts. My absolute FAVORITE was a "fight bead" bracelet. A bracelet with silver looking beads and a tiny silver punching glove with a scripture reference inscribed on it. When I arrived home I called the host and ordered the rest of her stock so that I could give them away as Mother's Day gifts at church.
I would wear that bracelet when my faith was being opposed. Obviously, I believe heavily in frequencies. Any time I wore it, throughout the day I'd touch the bracelet. Simply because I'd commit to moments of prayer and intentional mindfulness. I LOVE meaningful things, so I ADORED the bracelet! And then one day I had to take it off.
Michelle Kern was an AMAZING addition to The Well Frequency, a nurse by trade. Her clients absolutely loved her. She provided GREAT service, helped a LOT of people and was so seriously passionate about her work. She made sacrifices to be a conduit of healing for her community.
So as I stood bedside as she was transitioning from this plane, my heart was broken. The pain in the room full of family and friends who wept felt indescribable. I kept wondering HOW this could be that I was in THAT room that afternoon when we had a house visit scheduled at her home later in the day.
It was then that one of her best friends began sobbing and begging. Begging Michelle to wake up. Begging doctors to see things could turn around, begging God to heal her, just begging for relief from the anguish she was experiencing. It was a very painful moment. And I felt myself sliding my bracelet off of my wrist, reaching across the bed and sliding it unto her's. And I told her I honored her love for her friend and the way she was fighting for her. I knew I'd never forget seeing her love in action like that. And ladies, we know how much we love and NEED our "besties".
I went home with my arm bare. I missed my bracelet, but not once did I regret gifting it to Michelle's friend.
A few weeks later I wanted to wear my bracelet that was now gone and then it came to me. ANCHORED needs a bracelet.
I have an online Bible community. I teach Bible INTENSIVES (not Bible Studies).
When storms rage in our lives..... we must remain ANCHORED.
When circumstances feel uncertain.....we must remain ANCHORED.
When life, death, transition, mergers, marriages, raising children, illness, divorce, overwhelming opportunities, loss, major steps of faith, etc. knock of off balance, we must remain ANCHORED.
ANCHORED in our LORD.
ANCHORED inHis WORD.
ANCHORED in our FAITH.
ANCHORED in HIS LOVE.
ANCHORED DAILY.
That's the story. That's how the jewelry line started. And for the very FIRST time, I'm sharing it on The Well Frequency Prosper social media, because you just never know who needs to wear the reminder daily.
We started with the bracelet and the demand came for more. Now we're introducing the earrings and the necklace.
