I want to show you a simple, 10-minute grief practice I still use when the ache feels too big. It’s gentle, practical, and built to help you stay with hard feelings without being swallowed by them. 🌿💛
Step 1 — Write for 5 minutes: answer the prompt “What am I feeling right now? Where in my body do I notice it?” Be honest. No judgment. Let words land.
Step 2 — Two-minute reflection: sit quietly and breathe. Name one small truth you need to hear (You are not alone; this feeling will change). Notice any shift.
You may feel relief, heaviness, or surprising calm. All of those reactions are okay. Repeating this practice builds tolerance for grief, so painful waves don’t knock you off course. I speak from both lived experience and my training as a Certified Grief Coach — I’ve walked this road and learned tools that help.
