💉 Get vaccinated! Nearly everyone 6 months or older should get the flu shot, which is safe, accessible, greatly reduces your risk of catching the flu and prevents severe illness if you do get sick. Adults and high-risk children should consider the COVID-19 vaccine, and certain children and older adults should receive the RSV vaccine. A tan might look healthy, but the ultraviolet (UV) radiation that gives you that temporary glow also contributes to premature aging, increases the risk of some cancers, and can cause severe burns 🥵. The heat also makes dehydration a risk, which can cause many unpleasant symptoms that prevent you from enjoying yourself.
