Have you been told that knee replacement is your only option?

This patient had a physically demanding job and had been told he was a candidate for knee replacement in both knees.

We started with his more painful knee—the right knee.

Using concentrated bone marrow from his own body, I performed precision image-guided interosseous injections into the medial femur and medial tibia, addressing the bone component that can contribute to knee arthritis pain.

Some evenings stay with you. Last night was definitely one of them.

I had the great privilege of joining a wonderful dinner with the legendary Dr. Philippe Hernigou, and several fellow Regenexx physicians. Getting to speak with Dr. Hernigou, whose pioneering research on bone marrow concentrate and subchondral injections to avoid knee hip, shoulder and ankle replacements has shaped joint preservation approaches and was truly inspiring. Equally meaningful were the conversations with so many talented Regenexx colleagues and members of the Regenexx Corporate team throughout the evening.

I’m deeply grateful to Dr. Chris Centeno, the Regenexx physician community, and the entire Regenexx team for creating these opportunities to connect, learn, and collaborate. Moments like this fuel the lifelong curiosity that ultimately helps our patients stay strong and mobile.
