🔥 Comment BURN and I’ll send you what I take myself for reflux.

I dealt with reflux for more than 30 years - even while treating patients with the exact same problem.
What finally changed things for me wasn’t just lowering acid. It was understanding why the reflux kept happening in the first place and supporting the system behind it.

That completely changed the way I approach reflux now.

Comment BURN and I’ll send you exactly what I use.

That constant “something is stuck in my throat” feeling has a name, and sometimes it has nothing to do with actually having something stuck there.

Reflux can irritate the esophagus and trigger a nerve response that creates that lump sensation, even when you don’t have classic heartburn.

⚠️ Comment CURE and I’ll send you the approach that finally helped me get my own reflux under control after more than 30 years.

Most people think reflux happens because the valve between your stomach and esophagus simply gets weak.
But that’s not always what’s happening.
In many reflux episodes, that valve is actually being signaled to open when it shouldn’t, and once you understand what triggers that signal, reflux starts to make a lot more sense.

Comment CURE and I’ll send you the full breakdown of what I changed.

Your gut can affect a lot more than just bloating, gas, and bathroom habits.

Some of the symptoms that seem completely unrelated can actually show up alongside reflux, malabsorption, inflammation, or other digestive issues.

That doesn’t mean every headache, rash, or cough is coming from your gut, but it does mean the connection is worth knowing.

Tums works. But do you know what it’s actually doing?

It neutralizes stomach acid quickly, but relief may last only 20 to 60 minutes on an empty stomach.

What it doesn’t do is answer the bigger question:

Why does your reflux keep happening in the first place?

If you’re reaching for Tums regularly, that’s the question worth asking.

⚠️ Comment GLP and I’ll send you what I’ve been using with my patients to support their gut while they’re on these medications.

Here’s the part almost nobody explains:
The nausea, reflux, bloating, and slow stomach emptying are not the reason GLP-1s help you lose weight.
The real weight-loss effects are happening primarily through your brain.

So if your stomach is miserable, you shouldn’t have to assume that suffering is just “part of the process.”

Drinking milk for heartburn? It may be helping... for about 15 minutes.

That soothing feeling is real. But what happens next is where the science gets interesting.

Milk can temporarily buffer stomach acid. It can also stimulate acid production. And for some people, lactose can create gas and pressure that may make reflux more likely.

So is milk actually helping your reflux, or just buying you a few minutes?

Milk buffers stomach acid for a few minutes, then works against you. Here is the mechanism, what the one randomized trial found, and what to drink instead.

✨ Comment CYCLE and I’ll send you the guide I use to explain what can keep reflux stuck in a loop.

If your reflux keeps breaking through medication, the problem may not be that your acid is suddenly “stronger.”
Acid-suppressing medications can make reflux less acidic, but they don’t necessarily stop stomach contents from coming back up in the first place.
And when that keeps happening, the irritation can become part of the problem too.

Comment CYCLE and I’ll send you the full breakdown.

If my gut felt off and I wanted to feel noticeably better over the next 30 days, I wouldn’t start by doing anything extreme.
I’d focus on a handful of small things that support the way your gut is already supposed to work.

Comment SLEEP and I’ll send you my Reflux Sleep Connection Guide.

If you’re getting “enough” sleep but still waking up exhausted, there may be more going on than your bedtime routine.
One thing I look at is whether reflux could be quietly disrupting sleep throughout the night - even in people who never feel obvious heartburn.
