Turn the doorknobs in your feet to generate a chain of whole body movement in Tai Chi forms. I teach layered internal qualities and demonstrate how each one adds more efficiency and effectiveness in the Tai Chi application of Brush Knee. The concept of "turning the doorknobs in your feet" is from my late Master and mentor, Master William Ting. He taught the chain of movement as the Tai Chi classics state: All movement begins in the feet, bursts through the thighs, is governed and directed by the Dan Tian and flourishes in the hands. We often over focus on the hands, but the true power of Tai Chi is where it is not seen; in the not obvious. Enjoy the video!
