I used to call it self-care. It was actually damage control.

Self-indulgence numbs and leaves us emptier — quietly creeping up until it’s out of hand.

Self-care is different. It’s mindfulness, self-respect, and it restores.

This week’s episode of The Art of Enough is about learning to tell the difference. 🌿

✨ Is this choice actually caring for you... or is it damage control for something you’re not ready to face?

Your emotions aren’t the enemy — they’re prompts for self-reflection. 🌀

When mental chatter spins in circles, we can feel like victims of our own thoughts. But the moment we step back and observe instead of react, we take our power back.

Try this: acknowledge the feeling. Don’t make it about the story or the “other person.” Sit with your emotional response — that’s where the real wisdom lives. Ask yourself what it’s here to teach you.

This week, may you meet your emotions as teachers, not intruders. 💛

There’s something deeply meaningful about being trusted with someone’s journey. 🤍

My work isn’t about having all the answers—it’s about creating a space where you can slow down, reconnect with yourself, and allow what’s ready to shift to come forward.

When a client says they could feel my calmness, presence, and energy throughout their experience, I’m reminded why I do this work. ✨

So grateful to hold space for these beautiful transformations. ❤️

The Soulful Chair: Inspired by the conversations that unfold at My Chakra Center.

What if burnout isn’t always about doing too much… but about doing something you’ve outgrown?

Sometimes we become depleted because we’re no longer nourished by the environment we’re in.

Maybe it’s a job.
A boss.
A relationship.
A role you’ve been playing.
Or even a mission you once believed deeply in.

The beliefs may no longer feel like yours.
The culture may no longer resonate.
The bigger purpose that once energized you may no longer feel meaningful.

And yet, you keep showing up.

You keep doing your part.
You keep trying to find your motivation.
You wonder why something that once felt fulfilling now leaves you feeling empty.

Perhaps your energy isn’t telling you to try harder.

Perhaps it’s telling you that something has changed.

Sometimes burnout is the soul’s way of saying:

“This no longer fits who I am becoming.”

Outgrowing something doesn’t mean it was wrong.
It may simply mean you’ve grown.

So instead of asking, “What’s wrong with me?”

Try asking:

“What am I no longer resonating with?”
“What used to nourish me that no longer does?”
“What is my depletion trying to tell me?”

Sometimes the path forward isn’t finding a way to endure the same thing differently.

Sometimes it’s giving yourself permission to move toward something that feels alive again. ✨

What if your burnout isn’t asking you to push harder—but to listen deeper?

Logic and intuition don’t always agree. My head said no. My gut said yes.

Here’s how I tell the difference: Logic wants data — comparisons, pros and cons, facts you can verify. Intuition feels different — a pull toward something, or a resistance, that shows up in the body first: a tightness in the chest or stomach, a lightness like an open breath, a quiet certainty from within. Use logic when you need to plan, compare, or execute. Explore intuition when something feels off, or right, and you can’t yet say why.

The body doesn’t lie. There’s a reason we have six senses, not five. Try this: pause, breathe, and ask your body the question directly. Does something open, or does something tighten? Expansion is often a yes. Contraction is often a no.

✨ Reflection: Is this decision asking for logic? Or asking you to quiet the mind and allow the body to “hear” what you haven’t said out loud?

Logic wants data. Intuition shows up in the body first — a tightness, a lightness, a quiet certainty — before the mind can explain it. This episode shares how to tell the difference, plus a simple practice for tapping into your intuition. 🕯️

Mindful Monday ❤️

“I nurture my body with what it needs to thrive.”

The Root Chakra reminds us that feeling grounded begins with caring for the body—nourishing it with wholesome food, hydration, rest, and what truly supports us.

✨ Food for thought:
What is your body asking for today?

Listen. Nourish. Ground. Thrive. ❤️

A quiet reminder from nature… 🤍💚💛❤️

White for peace.
Green for growth.
Yellow for joy.
Deep burgundy for depth.

Sometimes beauty doesn’t need to be explained. It simply invites us to pause, receive, and notice what is blooming. 🌿

One of the most beautiful things I witness in the Soulful Chair is transformation.

Someone finds their voice.
Sets a boundary.
Stops abandoning themselves.
Begins trusting their own wisdom.

And then they discover something unexpected:

The people around them may not be used to this version of them.

A partner, family member, friend, or colleague may continue relating to the person they were—even as they’ve grown into someone new.

Sometimes our growth is met with resistance instead of celebration.

Not because we’re doing something wrong.

We’ve simply changed the pattern.

Your job isn’t to convince others that you’ve changed.

It’s to keep honoring who you’ve become.

Because you don’t need permission to grow beyond the role someone else assigned you.

You are allowed to become more fully yourself.
