Millions of women have been handed a prescription. Too few were handed the full conversation.

Today, July 11, World Benzodiazepine Awareness Day, we’re helping change that.

We’re not anti-medication.
We’re pro-informed choice.

If a medication is helping you, that decision belongs to you and your healthcare provider.

What we’re advocating for is something every woman deserves: honest conversations about the benefits, risks, alternatives, and what safe tapering looks like if that path is ever needed.

Normalize was born from lived experience. After being prescribed more than 3,600 pills in just 18 months, our founder, Kathleen Saucerman(Kathleen Saucerman ), chose a different path and built a community so others would never have to navigate it alone.
