15 years, highs and lows, and through it all, we’ve always faced life together.

What I’m most proud of is how we continue to show up for each other, grow together, and build a life rooted in love, resilience, and laughter. Even have 2 really awesome kids to show for it!

15 years down, forever to go. 🤍

Quick PSA: location matters.
👉 Burning, itching, irritation on the outside = v***a
👉 Discharge, odor, internal discomfort = va**na
Why does this matter? Because your exam, testing, and treatment should match the problem.
It’s ok if you don’t know the terms…we weren’t taught this stuff!
❤️ Just know that you can advocate for yourself to get the right tests and treatment if you’re not getting the right answers and relief!

Let’s normalize anatomy so you can get the help you need!!!

Listen to ***a_logic where and myself do just this!!! Normalize anatomy and discuss how to get help!! 🫶🫶🫶

You don’t have to pick just ONE treatment when it comes to your libido.

Because desire isn’t one-dimensional:
✨ Hormones (locally and all over the body…que the night sweats and fatigue)
✨ Skin
✨ Meds
✨ Brain chemistry
✨ Stress & mental load
✨ Relationships & context

So why would we treat it with just one thing?

Biologic tools + psychosocial support = real, meaningful change.
Every option works differently from the others, and they can work together.

You deserve access to the full menu to help you reclaim desire, pleasure, and connection.

🫶 No shame. No stigma. Just options.

Being told you’re in a high-risk breast category changes how you see your health—but it also empowers you to advocate for it.

“Normal screening” isn’t one-size-fits-all. Ask questions. Push for what you need. Know your risk. You deserve a plan that actually fits you.

And while we’re at it—perimenopause and menopause aren’t something we just have to “ride out.” There are real, evidence-based ways to feel better, protect your body, and support your long-term health.

✨ Better screening
✨ Smarter prevention
✨ Real symptom support that fits you, your goals, your risks and benefits…a personalized plan just for YOU. This is not a one size fits all!

We don’t have to settle for vague answers or feeling dismissed.

Your health is worth understanding. Your symptoms are worth treating. And your voice matters more than you think.

Breast density is about what your breast tissue is made of (more glandular tissue, less fat), and it can:
✨ Be very common! 50% of 40-50 yr olds and 40% of 50-60 yr olds get the letter.
✨ Make mammograms harder to read
✨ Slightly increase breast cancer risk

Translation? It’s not something to panic about—but it is something to know about.

If you’ve been told you have dense breasts, ask:
👉 Do I need additional screening (like an MRI)?
👉 What’s my overall risk (genetics and risk calculators)?
👉 What’s the best plan for me?

Because informed > afraid. Every time!

Genitopelvic pain is NOT random—and it’s definitely not “just in your head.”
There’s a pathway, and if we don’t look at every region, we miss the diagnosis.

We break it down by regions:
🌸 V***a & vestibule
💪 Pelvic floor
⚡ Nerves & spinal cord
🧠 Brain

Because real answers come from asking better questions—and looking everywhere pain can live.

👉 You deserve a provider who knows the map.

If you’ve been told your pain is “normal”…
or “just stress”…
or “in your head”… 🚩

We’re here to say: it’s NOT.

V***ar pain is complex—but it’s also treatable when you ask the right questions and see the right people.

A good specialist should be digging deeper 👇
✨ When did it start?
✨ Where exactly is the pain?
✨ What makes it better or worse?
✨ What’s going on with hormones, skin, nerves, muscles…and many other things!

You deserve more than a quick dismissal.
You deserve a workup, a plan, and relief.

We believe you. Always.
Follow and listen to the ***a_logic podcast where and I discuss alll things v***a!
We will be iterviewing many of our colleagues and specialists this year to help empower you and normalize this conversation! Stay tuned and share with those who could use some l***a logic!

🚨Period nerd alert!
The menstrual cycle is where it’s at!
📈Hormones CYCLE! They’re never the same throughout your month. Without this fluctuation, periods don’t happen!
🤔Why the fluctuations?? Your brain and your ovaries have to communicate to get an egg ready to go! FSH from the brain talks to the o***y and that’s where estradiol comes into the picture. Got enough estrogen and an egg ready??? Now the brain makes leutinizing hormone (LH). Ever done an ovulation predictor kit on your urine? Yep! That’s LH in your urine signaling the o***y to ovulate. Once that happens, progesterone enters the room!
If you get pregnant, the period doesn’t come and hormones rise. If you don’t get pregnant, hormones fall and the period comes. Then, start it all over again.
⛰️The difference between these regular cycles of your 20s and 30s and perimenopause?? Those hormone fluctuations are no longer predictable rounded humps like you see in the picture. They are often mountains and valleys and your body isn’t used to that!
📣The result of this erratic fluctuations: 🩸Uterus: cycle irregularity, heavier cycles, fibroids grow, adenomyosis, polyps, uterus cancer risk.
🧠Brain: anxiety, depression, migraines, hot flashes (yes, they come from the brain), SLEEP disturbance, brain fog)
⚖️Weight gain
💦Genitals: pain w s*x, urinary issues
🔥Musculoskeletal aches and pains
🌵Skin and hair changes
❤️Palpitations..and so much more!

YOU NAME IT! It’s all possible. Put all those together and add in some stress, fatigue and just plain LIFE and we get low libido!

👂Listen to your symptoms! Labs might not catch what’s going on and still having your period doesn’t mean perimenopause isn’t affecting you!! 🫶🏻

🚨Period nerd alert:

When patients tell me where they are in their menstrual cycle, it changes everything.
Your symptoms, your mood, your energy, your pain patterns, even your s*xual health — all shift throughout the cycle.

This is why I love the menstrual cycle: it’s one of the most powerful diagnostic tools in perimenopause, menopause, vulvova**nal care, and beyond.

Your period is information.
And I’m here to help you interpret.
