CortiCare

CortiCare CortiCare provides continuous EEG Services for the ICU, NICU or EMU using experience R.EEG.T. monitoring personnel and reading neurophysiologists.

CortiCare is a leader in In-home Ambulatory Video-EEG services and supporting EEG data for clinical trials. In 2010, CortiCare Inc. was incorporated as a US-based telemetry diagnostic company redefining healthcare value for neuro-critical care patients. The mandate was, and still is, to find solutions for the unmet need to monitor these patients continuously over long periods of time. CortiCare is

dedicated to improving neurocritical-care through a combination of EEG monitoring service products, neurophysiology partnerships, and innovative advanced technology that creates value for patients and healthcare providers. CortiCare brings decades of experience to the patient monitoring service business model. The company has extensive experience with EEG Monitoring that includes EEG operations, medical device and technology development, sales and of course hands-on, real-time patient monitoring. CortiCare has built a uniquely diversified monitoring service platform designed to provide end-to-end monitoring solutions to supplement and support the missing pieces of in-house neurodiagnostic services. The vision is to approach all neurocritical care areas to identify, develop and incorporate remote monitoring solutions that will provide hospital physicians new opportunities to act in real-time to changes in cerebral activity. CortiCare's unique approach to remote EEG monitoring opens the way for greater innovative opportunities and collaboration between critical care physicians and neurology that can improve the quality of care and lower the overall cost of neurocritical care patient services.

Building a neurology program takes more than identifying a need. It takes a clear plan, the right resources, and a commitment to putting that plan into action.

Out today on The CortiCare Podcast, Michelle Luffey of Corazon joins host Brad Beauchamp to discuss how hospitals can approach program growth while balancing patient needs, staffing challenges, and financial realities.

From evaluating new services to using teleneurology to supplement physician coverage, their conversation explores considerations for expanding access to neurological care and turning long-term goals into achievable steps.

Your patients need access to At-Home video EEG. Your clinic needs the support to make it happen.

We can be that support.

Your staff sets up the patient at your clinic and CortiCare handles the rest. We handle the technical component and any support the patient may need. After the study is over, the patient comes back to your office and we send you a full technical report within 48 hours. You control the patient experience and maintain oversight of the clinical and technical components.

With experienced EEG professionals supporting each study, your practice can expand access to at-home testing while keeping patient care at the center.

Your EEG team may be exceptional.

That does not mean they should have to carry a growing neurodiagnostic program alone.

Rising ICU volumes and limited overnight coverage can stretch even the strongest teams, leading to burnout and missed clinical events.

CortiCare provides 24/7 continuously monitored EEG coverage designed to extend your existing department, not replace it. Hospitals and health systems around the country rely on us to continuously monitor any patient within 10 minutes of EEG lead placement, escalate critical events within 180 seconds and when needed interpret EEGs in a timely manner.

All of this leads to reducing EEG technologist burnout, increase in neuro census and a reduction in length of stay.

More coverage. Clear escalation. A stronger structure for the patients who cannot wait.

Every great mission begins with heart and sometimes, an unexpected ambassador. 🦦💙

Dan Mikes recently delivered Reggies to a pediatric hospital, helping bring a little extra comfort to children during their care journeys.

Reggie’s name was created in honor of Registered EEG Technologists (R.EEG.Ts): the skilled, dedicated professionals whose expertise forms the foundation of CortiCare. Every day, these technologists bring knowledge, precision and reassurance to moments that can feel overwhelming for patients and families.

Why a sea otter? Sea otters are intelligent, adaptable and known for holding hands so they do not drift apart. These qualities reflect CortiCare’s commitment to providing reliable, accessible EEG services while helping patients and healthcare teams feel supported along the way.

More than a mascot, Reggie is a tribute to the technologists who inspired his name and a reminder that accuracy and empathy should always go hand in hand.

Interested in requesting Reggie for pediatric patients at your facility? Complete the form below, and a member of the CortiCare team will reach out:
