Good news if you take any of these medications: Lower prices are coming in 2026. Thanks to Medicare's drug price negotiation program, ten commonly prescribed medications will see significant price reductions starting next year, including popular drugs for diabetes, heart conditions, and blood clots.

This could result in significant savings on your Part D drug costs if you're taking any of these medications. Read the full list here: https://mhero.pro/tmfk4

The Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) of 2022 created a new ability for Medicare to negotiate prices for the most expensive drugs the program covers. The first set of negotiated drug prices will go into effect in 2026 and are estimated to save $1.5 billion in annual out-of-pocket costs for Medicare bene...

2026 Updates — Insulin Savings for Medicare Members

Great news for everyone who relies on insulin! Starting in January 2026, your out-of-pocket insulin costs with Medicare will stay low—capped at just $35 per month for each covered insulin product. Even better — this cap is now more flexible!

You’ll pay the lowest of the following three amounts for a one-month supply of your medication:

✅ $35
✅ 25% of the drug’s negotiated price
✅ 25% of the new Medicare-negotiated Maximum Fair Price

This means more savings in your pocket, especially if your prescribed insulin is one that Medicare has recently negotiated a better deal on! Plus, no deductible applies for covered insulin under Part D—your savings begin right from your first purchase of the year.

Why does it matter? With the price cap and ongoing negotiations, Medicare is making it easier for you to afford the medication you need. If you’re on insulin, double-check that your prescription is covered, and reach out during the Annual Enrollment Period (Oct 15–Dec 7) to maximize your benefits and make any needed changes.

Don’t Let Scammers Steal Your Peace of Mind (or Your Medicare Info!)

Unfortunately, Medicare scams are on the rise — and they’re getting sneakier every year. If you get a call, email, or even a knock on your door asking for your Medicare number or personal info, pause before you respond.

Here are 5 warning signs that it might be a scam:
1️⃣ Someone calls claiming to be from Medicare and asks for your Medicare number or Social Security info.
2️⃣ You’re told you must pay a fee to keep or renew your Medicare card.
3️⃣ You receive an “urgent” message saying your benefits will end unless you act immediately.
4️⃣ You’re promised a “free” gift, medical equipment, or refund in exchange for your Medicare number.
5️⃣ The message or call feels rushed, threatening, or too good to be true.

How to protect yourself:
✔️ Never share your Medicare number unless you’ve initiated the contact.
✔️ Hang up on unsolicited calls claiming to be from Medicare.
✔️ Review your Medicare Summary Notices for suspicious charges.

✔️ Report scams at 1-800-MEDICARE (1-800-633-4227).
