We couldn't believe how amazing this story is - you just HAVE to read it!
My story brings tears of joy to me every time I think of how much has changed in just over 4 months, all thanks to Plexus. This company is a truly a Godsend.
This my story.
I am now 51 years old. I have been a nurse for 20+ years, but have not physically been able to work for the past 5 years. I have had to endure health issues my entire life and until now I have had to just accept that as part of my life. In my senior year in high school I was diagnosed with ovarian cancer. I had surgery to remove one o***y and an 18 pound tumor. In the 1970's, survival rate of ovarian cancer was not good to say the least and the doctors said at best I would never have children. I am now the mother of 3 grown children, with 2 of them being a set of twins.
Fast forward a bit. At age of 45, I was diagnosed with diabetes and had my first heart attack two months later. Up to that point diabetes was one of the only health issues I hadn't had to deal with but, of course, suddenly, while at work one day I almost passed out. A fellow nurse checked my blood sugar just out of instinct. The glucometer would not even read my glucose level. I was sent to the ER and was diagnosed as adult onset, insulin dependent diabetic. I was classified as a Type 1 diabetic because it was determined that my pancreas was "dead." The next few years consisted of more doctors and so many different insulins, diets and regimens, all to no avail. My family was literally watching me deteriorate before their very eyes. At one point my kidneys failed, due to uncontrolled glucose levels and high blood pressure. My life was nothing but constant trips to the doctors, measuring food, calories, carbs and medicines. Even a trip to the bathroom became a major accomplishment. I believe the doctors gave up on me.
This past December, everything had built up and I found myself in a life threatening crisis. For over a week, I had complained of what I thought to be really bad indigestion. Then, one night my daughter Jordan looked over at me and said "you don't look so good. You kind of look grey." She called my doctor, but my nursing instincts finally kicked in and as I started to get nauseous I knew I was in serious trouble. I was having a massive heart attack. We live out in the country and I told Jordan, "You can get me to the nearest hospital before the ambulance can be dispatched." The last coherent thing I remember was saying to Jordan, "turn your flashers on and floor it, I don't think we're going to make it."
We pulled into the hospital and Jordan ran screaming into the ER. I needed to be airlifted but the weather was too stormy for the helicopters. I was rushed by ambulance to the nearest cardiac center where the Cardiologists all said I was very lucky to have survived. I knew then that God had greater plans for me but at the time, I just didn't know those plans included Plexus.
I have 4 coronary stents and was told I would be on lipid medications and blood thinners for the rest of my life. My blood glucose levels were way above normal on a daily basis, I was taking 5 shots of insulin and oral medications for diabetes daily.
In February of this year, my oldest daughter Meagan told my other daughter Jordan about Plexus. Meagan was taking it to get rid of the last little bit of "baby weight" she'd kept since having her daughter. She and Meagan kept talking about it and what it was doing for people with Type 2 diabetes and in March, she signed up and ordered our first supply of Plexus. Jordan immediately started losing weight and I was starting to see a change in my blood sugar levels. Since that time, we have been steadily decreasing my insulin dosages. I'm now on two shots a day and taking less than half the original dosages. I have now lost 23 pounds, my diabetes is under control and I'm off all blood thinner and lipid medications!
I went in recently for a check up with my doctor; he said he couldn't understand what he was seeing. He said it isn't possible for a Type 1 diabetic to become Type 2, but for some "unexplained" reason I am now presenting as a type 2 diabetic and my pancreas is now producing insulin!!! So, I am an adult onset, insulin dependent diabetic. Type 1? Type 2? Who knows! Was I misdiagnosed in the beginning? Was I over medicated over the years? I don't know the answers but what I DO know is, since I started taking Plexus, my health has improved exponentially!
There is no doubt in my mind that Plexus saved my life! I can now ride horses again. I jump on the trampoline with my grandson every day. God answered our prayers about my health and our financial concerns all through Plexus. I praise God for giving me this opportunity to get healthy, earn money and best of all, the opportunity to tell others about Plexus and what God has done for us through Plexus.
Thanks for reading my story!
