Being misunderstood is something I struggled with since childhood.

Trying to get a drunk, most of the time, 30 year old dad to communicate with me was impossible…but it didn’t seem so to the 5 year old me.

Being misunderstood was traumatic for me as it often resulted in my being punished.

Maybe you can relate.
