This one means a little extra to us. Knowing this will probably be the last year we are able to be considered for “Best of Gaston”. As we begin our new chapter in Lincoln County, it truly means so much. 🖤

For years, Gaston County has supported us, believed in us, and helped build S’Moore Ink into what it is today. From the bottom of our hearts , thank you for every vote, every appointment, every recommendation, and every person who trusted us along the way.

🎓🖤Huge congratulations to all the 2026 graduates🖤🎓

Y’all survived the group projects, senioritis, cafeteria food, and all those “this will matter one day” speeches… and now some of y’all are officially turning 18. 😅 Which means yes… you can legally walk into a tattoo shop now.

And trust us… we KNOW some of y’all have been waiting YEARS to finally get that tattoo idea you drew in the back of your notebook during math class.

But before you sprint through our doors asking for a giant neck tattoo that says “No Ragrets” slow down a second. Tattoos are permanent, your frontal lobe is still buffering, and your mama still knows where you live.

At S’Moore Ink, we love our younger clients, but we’re also gonna keep it real with you:
✔️ We’ll help guide you toward smart tattoo choices.
✔️ We care more about quality than rushing out cheap tattoos.
✔️ We want you to LOVE your tattoo 10 years from now.
❌ And no… your first tattoo is NOT gonna be on your face, hands, or neck unless you walk in looking like a fully colored-in sketchbook already.

Good tattoos aren’t cheap… but cheap tattoos usually turn into expensive coverups later.

So if you’re finally ready for your first tattoo, come hang out, ask questions, and let’s make sure you get something meaningful instead of something that makes your mom cry at Thanksgiving dinner. 🖤🤣
