Hello tattoo people! Since 1995, I have been studying, practicing and applying the great art of the Traditional Japanese Tattoo.

Since March of 2019, I have been an authorized student of the Japanese Tattoo Master Horikoi 1 of Toyohashi Japan. I have received my honorific title from him, I am “Horisho”. More importantly, I receive knowledge, guidance and inspiration from him covering the span of Japanese full body tattooing, Japanese traditional tattoo design, Japanese symbol, meaning, and legend, and Japanese cultural exploration, within the world of Japanese Tattooing and outside of it as well.

I offer a premium service, tattooing a select clientele by appointment only in a private studio setting at Heart in Hand Gallery, located in the heart of Deep Ellum, just a stone’s throw away from our parent shop, Elm Street Tattoo.

I take a large amount of pride in working with my customers to uphold and carry on the aesthetics, values, and history of Traditional Japanese Tattooing.
