When antibiotics kick in and you feel human again, it's tempting to stop early. Please don't. Feeling better means the medicine is working, not that every last bacterium is gone. Stopping too soon can let the strongest survivors bounce back, and they may be harder to treat next time. Finishing the course is how you actually clear the infection. Unless your prescriber tells you to stop, keep going. Save this reminder to finish the course.
