I grew up in a small town in Greece called Karystos. About 5,000 people.
The elders in that town -- in their 70s, 80s, 90s -- were lean. Not gym-lean. Not diet-lean. Just naturally, effortlessly lean.
They didn't count calories. There was no gym in town. Nobody talked about their macros or their metabolism. Nobody was "being good."
They were just living. And their weight took care of itself.
When I moved to Danbury in my teens, I couldn't figure out why Americans were working so much harder at their health and getting so much less out of it.
After 30 years and 1,500+ clients, I understand exactly why. And that understanding is the foundation of everything I do.
The answer isn't harder work. It's working with your body instead of against it.
